RH Princesa Hotel and SPA is a family-orientated hotel on the Costa Blanca. The hotel is a short walk from both Levante beach and Benidorm, making it a convenient base for enjoying all that the area has to offer. Around the resort, you can find family-friendly facilities such as a water park and theme park. You can also spend the day wandering the cobbled streets of the Old Town. At RH Princesa Hotel and SPA, there's an outdoor swimming pool, a heated indoor pool and a separate splash pool for children. The outdoor pools are surrounded by a terrace area on which you can relax. You can take part in activities such as darts, basketball, or football, or play a game of pool, table tennis or mini golf with your friends and family. The hotel has a gym and offers fitness classes. If you're looking to relax, you can use the Turkish bath, sauna and whirlpool at the spa, where you can also sign up for treatments such as massages, waxing and facials. On a regular basis, RH Princesa Hotel and SPA hosts evening entertainment that usually includes live music, karaoke or dancing. The hotel has 2 bars, which include a snack bar that serves chips, sandwiches and burgers, and a bar beside the pool.
Princesa is 650m from Playa de Levante, a Blue Flag-listed sandy beach bordered by the Mediterranean Sea, and is 250m from Benidorm's Old Town. Here, you can hunt for souvenirs at markets selling artisan crafts, relax on Benidorm's other Blue Flag beach, Playa Poniente, or dine on fresh seafood and Spanish specialities on the seafront promenade. As the nightlife capital of Costa Blanca, Benidorm has plenty of late-night bars and clubs to choose from. You can opt for a family-friendly cabaret show or a big night out in the Square.
Princesa has one buffet restaurant that's open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant offers international cuisine and, during peak seasons, has a kids' menu that includes pizza and chicken nuggets. In the centre of Benidorm, restaurants serve cuisines from around the world, as well as Spanish dishes such as paella and tapas.
For children, the hotel has a daily kids' club that offers games and activities. During the summer holidays, there's also kids' entertainment.
Rooms at Princesa are contemporary and airy with a neutral colour scheme and light wooden flooring. All come with air conditioning and a TV.

Fantastic family holiday
We stayed at RH Princesa for our first family holiday and we were not disappointed. The hotel is very modern, very friendly staff and exceptionally clean. For a family holiday you have to book this hotel. The kids entertainment, especially Luca and Alex were absolutely fab! The kids adored them. The entertainment was fab. We were there for 10 days and a different show each night. They were all fab. The food has a great selection. Though have to admit my two fussy children did slightly struggle. They would have loved to just eat chicken nuggets each day but they were not always an option. We upgraded to the gold all inclusive and I would totally recommend this. The pools were fab though some should note that you are not allowed floats or inflatables in the pool. We never had an issue with this. Also need the pool doesn’t open until 10am so no early morning queue for the sun beds. The only negative and it is only a slight negative is that you don’t get dropped off or picked up at the hotel entrance. Instead you get dropped at a hotel down the road. So you have to walk about 5 mins up a little hill with all your suitcases. Could be an issue with families with lots of cases. Ours weren’t too bad as the kids managed to push their cases ok. Thinking of going back next year again!
Half board vs all inclusive...
Overall good and brill but I thought that half board and all included were the same but with 2 instead of 3 with half it can all add up for going out or buying the buffet and with all included you save allot we had to for half next time all inclusive.
Lovely hotel, shame about the food,
We had an ok week at the hotel. Rooms were ok, kept clean as was the rest of the hotel. Staff were friendly even in the restaurant where they never had a free moment. The pool is too small for the amount of guests. At times you couldn’t move in there. There is the usual Spanish mad rush for beds as soon as the gates open at 10. If you don’t get there then, you’ll have no chance of a bed until late afternoon. The jacuzzi is not to be used for anyone under 14, stupid tule but the lifeguards were in their element telling everyone off. Also, no smoking or vaping by the pool, you have to go out the front of the hotel. There are 2 levels of AI, never have I seen this, you are allocated a silver band when you book but can upgrade to a gold band on arrival. This gives you branded drinks and better snacks - we didn’t upgrade. The snack bar - my god the food up there was awful, when it was open. It seemed to open and close at random times of the day, one day of our stay it didn’t open until 4pm. There was a choice of burger, hot dog, toastier and chips. Entertainment was awful, we stayed for the pirate/sword thrower act but apart from that 5 minutes was enough and we would go out to the old town. The breakfast was the same as every other AI in Spain, nothing really to comment. Lunch and evening meal was shocking. We always opt for all inclusive as we have 2 kids and wherever we have been in the past they always eat well, in no way are they fussy eaters and neither are myself or my husband but some nights there was nothing to make a meal from. All of the reviews we read on here praise the food - they must have been somewhere else because it was rubbish. The thought of going to the restaurant every evening filled me with dread, we used to go there, have a look and then go down to town and get some real food. I missed 2 days of my holiday due to being ill in my room which I can narrow down to the pork in the restaurant on the Thursday evening. Overall, we will not be back - a trip to Benidorm was on my husbands bucket list, we’ve done it now, we won’t be back!
