“Enjoyable Stay”

We stayed in a Dreamer Room for 3 nights - the location could not be better, close to to all the amenities , restaurants and shops Check in was efficient and we were contacted when the room was available The room was spacious and clean and contained everything we required, including the provision of additional hangers for the wardrobe. The little gift left each evening was most appreciated There was bountiful options for breakfast including an egg menu - it never seemed busy and the staff were very attentive We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner in the Fondillon Restaurant The afternoons at the rooftop pool and bar were extremely pleasant and relaxing However, the staff are what makes this establishment special - everyone we encountered were friendly, helpful and professional Our review would have been "Excellent" but there were financial and plumbing issues that could have been avoided

“Friendly”

We have to score a ‘5’ if only for the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff. We stayed in a Dreamers’ room which was spacious with a comfortable bed, a sofa and a large TV which received international channels. There was lots of choice at breakfast, including the option to have items cooked to order. Our only real issue was the shower which was in the bath. The bath had a wide rim: my wife and I are in our 70s and I have recently had surgery so we found it difficult to step in and out when taking a shower - luckily we managed without mishap. But we enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

“Excellent hotel and friendly staff”

Stayed for 4 nights in October on a DBB basis. Room size was excellent, room 123. The bed was very comfortable and beautiful soft bedlinen used. The room could do with a refresh of the paint. We had a problem with the large watering can shower head, there was a leak in the pipe feeding the large shower head. The ceiling dripped each time we used it. we reported it but didnt move room as there was a 2nd shower head available. Cleanliness was excellent. we had a 3 course dinner each night and the food is superb. Quality produced, expertly prepared. The staff were lovely and friendly, particularly the blond lady on breakfast/dinner, we didnt catch her name but she had very good English and was very proactive. The breakfast buffet was excellent, large selection on offer including a cooked breakfast. Perfect poached eggs. Great location for visiting the city, everything is walkable from the hotel. The lady covering the rooftop bar Jennifer was very friendly and helpful.

“Great experience”
