Fuerteventura Golf Club Spain

Play a round at Fuerteventura's first 18 hole golf course, and the host of the 2004 Spain Open, with a visit to Fuerteventura Golf Club. With its well-kept greens and palm-lined bunkers, the golf club is a great place to spend a few hours as you enjoy a round.

To get there, you can take a free bus from the centre of Caleta de Fuste.

From holes one to ten, you'll play with views across the deep blue seas, while the remaining eight holes will take you past lakes, along narrow fairways and onto large greens. Under the warm Fuerteventura sun, you can play golf here all year round.

If you're playing in a large group you may be able to get discounted rates, while twilight rates are available after 2pm. There are also buggies for hire, to save your energy as you go around the course.

If you prefer, go to the driving range where you can practice your shots or visit the pro shop to browse the golfing items for sale. There's also a golf academy where you can take beginner or improver lessons in English, all in the beautiful tropical setting.

After playing your 18 holes, make sure you enjoy a well-deserved drink and a bite to eat at the ”19th hole'.

Then, go and meet the rest of your holiday group at the nearby beaches, or take the free bus back into the town for shopping, restaurants and nightlife.
