Lasala Plaza Hotel brings together the glamour and elegance of a town perched on the edge of the sea and an impressive bay. The hotel blends art and local history to create an authentic experience. The building dates to 1917 and has been completely reformed, preserving the original architectural style of the façades which invite guests on a journey through time.
Lasala Plaza Hotel was designed to immerse visitors in the town's culture: the sea, the fishing port, the streets filled with the same people as always, art, and the town's history. The six floors of the building have been transformed into itinerant museums, exhibiting photos, sculptures, paintings, collotypes, engravings and other works of art.

“Recent stay”

We had asked for feather pillows and instead received very firm pillows. Otherwise, service was great. The shower design was such that the water spilled out onto the bathroom floor. It would be good if they could put a little ledge at the shower base to avoid this.

“Great hotel in the old town, highly recommended.”

Just had a lovely 3 nights here, it is a great hotel. the location is fantastic on the seafront and with the old town and all the Pintxos bars right on your doorstep. the room had a great sea view and was kept so clean, being made up everyday. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely use the Lasala Palace again on our next visit.

“Outstanding hotel”

Excellent services and amenities. Beautiful location. The room was well-apportioned and comfortable. Only hotel I would stay at in San Sebastián.

“Nice hotel. Good Location.”

The good: the communal areas are pristine and well designed. The location is great. Our room was... fine. Good size; nicely decorated. Bed was comfortable enough, but not amazing. Very quiet. Aircon was dated and didnt seem very easy to control. But the bathroom was a little odd and I dont love that you can see the toilet from the bed. Electric sliding doors and old-style Japanese toilets felt a bit faddy rather than premium. The bad: The minibar p***ed me off - €7.5 for a small bottle of water is ridiculous. The rooms are expensive enough. Either provide it free, dont provide it, or price it appropriately - but price gouging for a few EUR on a 3-500EUR per night hotel is bad business. The parking felt steep but not terrible at 42 EUR per night.. The hotel were hacked (I dont know when exactly) - but I got a message on whatsapp asking me to make payment or my booking would be cancelled including my booking details. I couldnt remember if I had already paid or not. I submitted my banking information. I received a generic email from the hotel about an hour later about "rise of fraudulent activity" and not to engage with any communications not directly from them. They were aware in the hacking and as it happens I think nothing has been stolen - but the hotel should have acted much more decisively after finding out they had been hacked.

“Awesome hotel”

What can i say. Brilliant location overlooking the bay and on the edge of the old town and amazing food. Walking distance from Mt Agueldo and Urgall. Genuinely attentive and friendly staff. Wonderful room with all of the amenities you would expect. Very comfortable bed and the rooftop bar was a wonderful place to watch the sunset. We loved it, and if we travel to San Sebastian again, will be staying here. Cannot recommend highly enough.
