“Do not go”

Please be careful here - our whole group had food poisoning which their gp said was due to food and people had been taken to hospital and they wanted us to go. 400 euros for 3 sick notes. Had to extend our trip due to illness - hotel had no tlc - all they were bothered about was us paying for the room despite our insurance trying to pay for it direct. I had to go to reception really poorly to sort after 3 phone calls on first day of violent sickness and diarrhoea. TUI were no assistance and surprisingly poor when I had previously held them in such high regard. Otherwise weather was nice.

“Nice hotel, beware of young kids!”

I stayed here with my wife in September 2026. It’s a nice hotel, it’s clean, the staff are friendly and helpful and in the main their spoken English is excellent. The location is pretty good, it’s about 20 minutes from Alcudia old town by bus and there are bus stops right outside the hotel. The check in process was easy, the route to our room was clearly explained and we were checked in and off to our room in a couple of minutes. The rooms are quite big, we had a pool view room and a sea view to the side. There was a large balcony with a table and chairs along with a small clothes airer. Inside, there was a comfortable bed and a sofa bed, a large walk in wardrobe with a safe and a well equipped kitchenette. We were booked on a B&B basis but upgraded to all inclusive for €50 a day, a bit of a no brainer really. The food was served in a buffet restaurant and it was of reasonable quality albeit a little repetitive. We didn’t go hungry though! The evening entertainment was ok, with something for everyone however if you’re placed in one of the blocks near the main stage then you could possibly have an issue with noise from the entertainment area particularly during the peak summer months. My only gripe, and this is due to my own lack of research, was the number of young children staying. We are a couple in our 50’s and I assumed that young children would be in school, no! There were plenty of kids of all ages and nationalities staying, it’s not a negative thing but I’m sharing this information as other older travellers may find it useful to know.

“Lovely family holiday”

STOP reading the bad reviews🥱 honest review: 29th September - 6th October Going: Flew from East Midlands, dropped the car off at 03:15 and was sat in the restaurant with a cuppa at 03:35, perfect. Flight was okay, bad turbulence and bad landing but all ‘fine’ otherwise. arrived at palma airport, seemed ‘quiet’ considering all the speculation recently. bus from plane to building, new security checks (face and finger ID) really easy and simple, along with baggage collection. we got a private transfer and were there within 40/45 mins (would highly recommend. the coach arrived about two hours after we arrived at the hotel) Arriving: arrived around 11:45ish to very welcoming staff and beautiful entrance. room wasn’t ready until around 2o’clock but we were able to leave our luggage safely in a room and were given our all inclusive wristbands. we made this time our ‘let’s look around, find things and grab lunch’ time which made it easy when we got to our room as we new exactly where to go and what for, making the most of the travelling day! Room: we had a twin room with sofa bed. first impression of room, spotless, spacious and had everything, plus extras. lots of pillows, towels, fridge, kettle, toaster, pans, cutlery, safe..all sorts really. couldn’t fault it. bring your own hairdryer (there’s is freezing cold and i’d probably still be drying my hair now from the first night if i didn’t bring my own😂) got 3 large towels and 3 small towels in our room and then given an extra card to get 3 large blue towels for the beach/pool. we had a little toddler step in our room which was really handy and a nice little extra. lots of storage, nice and quiet area. i won’t lie, rooms could really do with a spruce up and toilets could do with a real clean around the complex. Cleaners however were always out early morning. (Block B, B303) Food: we ate at both restaurants, couldn’t really fault it for an all inclusive, the usual repetitive things with a theme each night but always clean, fresh, warm and welcoming staff. breakfast was the best in my opinion. always tables available and always clean. Beach/Pool/Entertainment: beach was stunning, nothing more to say. pools cold but they always are🤷🏼‍♀️ entertainment alright, wasn’t amazing but something for the kids along with the park, trampolines (6€ for 5 mins) and football pitch. few supermarkets around, on the pricey side so just bring what you think you’d need but don’t worry if you desperately need or forget something as there’s lots of things around with practically all essentials. ALWAYS sunbeds either at the front/back/left/right/centre 😂 of all the pools so really no need for the ‘mad dash’, (certainly not when it’s out of school holidays) Mosquitos: bring spray, after bite things etc. I was bitten really badly along with my three year old. Pharmacy about 2 minute walk from the hotel, just outside, and are helpful. Leaving: we had late checkout and was able to use all the facilities even after checking out earlier than planned. again, we got a private transfer, arrived at palma at 3:15pm for our 6:40pm flight. early, i know, but i wanted to make sure we was there, through security to avoid any stress and delays as previously mentioned in reviews. Palma Airport, really easy. We was with TUI. TOP TIP - avoid the first lot of duty free and go straight past mcdonald’s, down to the new border control and then get food/shop after. I’ve also learned that there are a lot of rude people in this world so if anything, please remember to smile at others and remember your manners. I am currently going through early stages of grief and I still managed to ensure I smiled at everyone i saw. Highly recommend Bernat Nicolau, extremely easy, reliable good communication. We would defiantly come back here, maybe more the summer months. any questions, feel free to ask. Please don’t comment if you disagree or have something bad to say. Everyone has their own opinion and this is mine. If you want to review the hotel, please do so on your own post.

“Good all round family holiday.”

We came to Alcudia Pins end of September/ beginning of October for a week, all inclusive. We are a family of 5 with kids aged 6,4 and 2. The hotel itself is nice and clean and well maintained, there are parts that look a little dated but still very nice. The location is nice right on the beach, there are a few small shops within walking distance where you can get the usual souvenirs, inflatables, food and drink. There isn’t much near by if you wanted to go out for dinner or drinking but that didn’t bother us. The room was a good size, we went for a 2 bed apartment which had 2 twin rooms and an extra pull out bed under the sofa. We went all inclusive so didn’t use the kitchen at all so couldn’t comment on the kitchen in our room. We also had a nice big balcony which we could see the sea from. You could hear the entertainment from our room at night but it wasn’t stupidly loud just a low rumble of music which didn’t bother us at all. The food was decent, different things on their specials each night. One night was sea food, another was Spanish food, one night was Italian food etc. The breakfast and lunch menu was the same every day but a wide spread to choose from. The drinks are self serve at meal times which was good for the kids. The queue for the bar at night did get a bit long at times but we don’t drink alcohol so it wasn’t a big deal for us. All of the staff here were very friendly especially the wait staff in the restaurants. One of the staff in particular was very good with the kids and remembered their names and gave them all high fives every meal time which was nice. I’d say the value for money was ok, we paid £3300 for a week which isn’t cheap but we enjoyed our holiday so I’d say it was worth it. All in all I’d say it was a good family holiday, the kids enjoyed all the pools, slides, going to the beach, eating their bodyweight in desserts and ice creams. I don’t know if it would be the right destination for people without kids as it is very geared towards family’s but overall a nice place.

“Not for adults.”

Don't go if you're a couple or adults without children. Brilliant place for little ones but nothing for adults and there is nowhere within walking distance for adults. There is a bus stop outside which takes you to the port and to can picafort which is lovely. But nowhere to stroll to for entertainment on the evening. Room was basic which was fine. Nice little sofa, full size fridge and another area by the bathroom which was good for keeping sandy things on from the beach so your living area isn't sandy. Rooms also need updating. We were in block H. Entertainment on a night was brilliant for kids but nothing at all after their shows for adults. We spent most days off site as we were half board so I don't know what the entertainment in the day was like. There was no boards or notice to say what the entertainment was for the day/night. Food was usual buffet food. Nothing special but very nice. We both found food we liked everyday at breakfast and dinner. We didn't use the pools as there was a lot of families but the pool areas were all very clean and well kept. Plenty of sun loungers where on offer so it wouldn't be a struggle to get beds. We spent most of our time on the beautiful beach which is STUNNING. You would think you where in the Maldives. It's crystal clear, warm and the sand is beautiful. Also not very deep either. Over all this place would have been great if we had the kids with us and they were under 8-9 yrs old but it's not good for families with older children or adults.
