Pestana Promenade Ocean Resort Hotel

The 4 star Pestana Promenade is located near Lido, south west of Funchal old town, with direct access to the beach and Praia Formosa with its black pebble beaches.

The hotel features one of the largest swimming pools in Madeira. There's also an indoor swimming pool in The Spa, where you can indulge in a range of aromatherapy treatments. Or, relax in the sauna, whirlpool baths and Turkish baths. For the more active traveller there is a gym.

The hotel’s Breezes restaurant offers themed dinners, while the Deep-Blue restaurant has an à la carte menu, with both Portuguese and international options on the menu. The Deck bar, with views of the Atlantic, serves light meals, ice cream and cold drinks. There's also family-friendly live music and entertainment at least four nights a week.

The hotel is close to the Ponta Gorda aquatic centre. Alternatively head to the marina for a choice of boat trips, whether you’re looking for a trip on a glass bottom boat, a pirate boat or a dolphin safari. For art and history lovers the cobbled streets of the old town of Funchal are just a few minutes away on the express public bus.
The hotel was refurbished in 2017, all rooms have a balcony with some having an ocean view. Car parking is available for a surcharge.
