“Close to the port!”

Went as a school trip for a week, sharing two people bedrooms with friends. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide variety (including traditional sweetbread!!), and the restaurant was a similar experience with a menu or buffet. The pools, spa and sauna were clean and perfect after longs days exploring the island. Staff were very helpful and friendly even with the language barrier. Overall lovely experience that made the trip so much better!!

“Good for an island hotel”

This hotel had a nice spacious room. The location is close enough to walk anywhere you want in about 15 minutes. They do not provide shampoo, conditioner, or an iron/steamer. We tried to call down for an iron/steamer and it is not something they offer. One night our AC stopped working and we called down but the maintenance worker had left for the day so it was fairly warm and we had to sleep with the patio door open. The breakfast buffet was good and the pools were spacious. You need a swim cap to use the indoor pool (which the hotel will sell you).

“Has great potential”

Great on paper, but the service could use improvement. The Azoris Royal Garden Hotel has a lot going for it. On paper, it’s a great hotel with excellent amenities, including a beautiful pool, a good breakfast, and a convenient location that makes it easy to explore Ponta Delgada. The property itself is attractive and has many of the things you would want for a comfortable stay. Unfortunately, the service was where the experience fell short. We found the staff to be very impersonal and lacking warmth. There wasn’t much of a smile or friendly interaction, and at times it felt like guests were simply being processed rather than welcomed. A little more enthusiasm, friendliness, and genuine hospitality would make a big difference. Overall, the hotel has great potential and many strong features, but the service needs improvement to match what the property offers. With a more welcoming and attentive staff, this could be a really wonderful place to stay. It was not the best introduction to Sao Miguel.

“Permanence in hotel during tour a Saŏ Miguel”

I was with my family in this hotel during a tour in Punta Delgada. Is not soo far from center. Hotel is a good structure,and food is ok. Rooms are also nice. If you find a hotel in Punta Delgada take in consideration.

“Wonderful stay at a beautiful hotel”

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The outdoor pool was my fav part! Beautiful palms and flowers, a good size for Proper swimming... no Towel wars! The restaurant food was delicious and the bar was a fun place to watch the World Cup. The indoor pool area and gym were also v good. Thanks!
