Whether you’re a casino newbie or a seasoned gambler, there’s something for everyone at the Casino de Monte-Carlo. From games of pure luck to skilled rounds of cards, start by wandering through the rooms before choosing your table and getting into the casino spirit.
Looking around, it’s easy to see why the building inspired Ian Fleming’s James Bond novels, and you may even recognise the casino as a filming location for Ocean’s Twelve. Go into the Salle des Amériques or Salle Blanche to play traditional European and American games. Sit with a glass of champagne at the roulette wheel before trying your hand at the blackjack tables or wearing your poker face with a game of Texas Hold’em.
If slot machines are more your style, go to Salle Europe or Salle Renaissance where you’ll find hundreds of machines ready to play, all in ornate regal surroundings.
If you prefer not to gamble, the casino’s also home to the Opéra de Monte-Carlo. When you’re ready for a break, order a drink and relax on the Terrasse while taking in the views right across the French Riviera.
There’s also fine dining at the venue’s restaurants, with a French and Italian-inspired menu at Le Train Bleu, and artistic gourmet food at the intimate Le Salon Rose.
