Hilton Malta is in the Portomaso Marina area of St Julian's, a seaside town in Malta. The hotel stands in private gardens filled with greenery and palm trees. The beach of St George is a short walk away, while the hotel's central location means that a number of cafes, bars and restaurants are also within walking distance. Outside the hotel, you can stroll down to the marina to admire the yachts anchored there and indulge in a little al fresco dining.
You can top up your tan on the sun terrace, while overlooking the four outdoor swimming pools. A further pool can be found in the spa. Here you may choose to relax in the sauna or Turkish bath, book yourself in for a massage or get a haircut. Further onsite activities include fitness classes such as Zumba, pilates and water aerobics, or you may fancy a workout at the gym or a game of tennis or squash.
Sample the flavours of authentic Mediterranean cuisine at the Oceana Restaurant, open for breakfast and dinner. During the long summer evenings, you may prefer to dine outside under the olive trees, with their sparkling fairy lights, in the Gazebo Restaurant. For something a bit different visit the Blue Elephant to indulge in some Thai cuisine, while you admire views of the Marina. At the pool bar you can order snacks and drinks throughout the day, while there are a further three bars at the hotel.
All rooms are equipped with a balcony, air conditioning, minibar, coffee making facilities, 40” LCD TV with cable channels and an alarm clock radio. After showering you can make use of the bathrobe, slippers and hairdryer provided. Choose between a marina or sea view.
The Hilton Malta is 500m away from St Julian's harbour. Head slightly south to Spinola Bay for some of the most well-known restaurants in the area and to see the 17th century Spinola Palace. The capital of Malta, Valletta, is 7km away and can be reached by either hire car or public bus. The main attractions include the 16th-century St John's Co-Cathedral, the National Museum of Archeology and the Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Great hotel, friendly staff, Great elite member recognition, very bad breakfast
Stayed here many times, one of the best hotels in Malta. Great rooms and beautiful views. Reception staff super efficient and friendly, Especially the front office managers Carmelo and Daniella. Good treatment and recognition for Hilton elite members. No problem getting an upgrade or a late checkout. Great service in the executive lounge. Only problem I noticed this time is that the quality of breakfast service and food has deteriorated significantly. No one to escort you to a table, no one to ask you for coffee or tea, its like a free for all. if you need tea you would need to go to the coffee station your self and hope you find the right teabag, a clean pot and some hot water. Servers only job is to clean tables, job done. the last time I was in this hotel I was served with the omelette in the picture, if you can call it an omelette. Its a piece of overcooked egg with some filings dumped on my plate. They don't event try to make the shape of an omelette anymore. Is it edible? yes, that's about it. Perhaps the chef can train the cooks a bit more on how to make a European style omelette? Luckily I got breakfast included in my Hilton honors. Cause I would feel ripped off if I had to pay for it.
Exceptionally clean
This establishment is great, personally I didn't think there was much to see and do in Malta so, not very keen on going back, but I would visit just to spend some time here and for Maltese ice cream. The service delivered by this hotel was so high, it was worth every penny charged. I have rated sleep quality as 4, not for the quality of the bed shichti would have rated 5, but for an issue with the air conditioning which was subsequently resolved by the hotel in the end
Great, lovely waterside resort!!
I stayed here for three days and I absolutely loved this resort. There were 6 pools, and one indoor pool. There was a tennis court, spa, restaurant, shopping stores, hot tub, and the rooms were nice and spacious. The hotel was very nicely located, on the water but still in walking distance of restaurants, attractions and gelato shops. The pools are clean and beautiful. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The only con is that breakfast is not free, but it looked delicious. There are various studios and gyms to train in, as well as a squash court. The indoor pool had a sauna and a steam room, as well as showers. I highly recommend this hotel, there are tons of things to do in the hotel and in the area.
