Situated in the heart of Qawra, db San Antonio Hotel & Spa is an all inclusive hotel boasting scenic views of Malta’s scenic northern coast. The Qawra Perched beach is just steps away from the resort, where you’ll be greeted by long stretches of warm sand and clear Mediterranean waters.
There are four pools at the resort, including an adults-only (16+) infinity pool overlooking St Paul’s islands, and one exclusively for children, complete with a pirate ship, slides and water cannons. There are also plenty of sports and activities for the whole family to enjoy, with volleyball, table tennis, live shows and karaoke nights. The younger guests will particularly enjoy the activities over at the Kids Club, while the Teens Club offers gaming consoles and multimedia entertainment.
For rooftop views and music, head up to the Taza Sky bar. Open from June to mid-September, you can take in the breathtaking sights of St. Paul's Bay while you dance the night away. In the evening you can experience one of the many show-stopping performances at the Kosy Bar.
If you’re looking for some quiet recuperation, book yourself into the hotel’s Pearl Spa. Boasting 10 treatment rooms, a hydrotherapy bath, and a sauna and steam room, this is the ideal setting to revitalise after a day touring the Maltese islands. The onsite fitness suite is also fully equipped with cardio and resistance equipment, along with qualified professionals on hand to help you with your goals.
The buffet is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with the main restaurant, Guéliz serving up international-inspired courses and a dedicated area for the younger guests. There are also six speciality restaurants to tempt you, with authentic Moroccan dishes, hearty carvery roasts and exotic Indian and Chinese options. If you dine at The Qzins, you’ll be presented with a feast for the senses. Set on the rooftop, you can indulge in fine cuts of meat as you take in panoramic sea views around you. Free-flowing wine, beer, juices and coffees can also be enjoyed throughout the day at the hotel bar.
A haven for sun-seekers, make sure to indulge at the hotel's beach lido, Nine Lives, a carefully curated space on Perched Beach. Accessible without leaving the hotel, you can treat yourself to nibbles and cocktails throughout the day while lounging on the plush sunbeds (all-inclusive guests are entitled to a 10% discount on all services and menu items).
Feel right at home within one of db San Antonio’s Moroccan inspired rooms, equipped with all the essential amenities, including air conditioning and a flat-screen satellite TV. Spectacular views of St Paul’s Bay await you on the balcony, with inland, pool and sea view options available. For breathtaking views of Malta’s sister islands, Gozo and Comino, upgrade to a Deluxe double or family room.
db San Antonio Hotel & Spa is also well-connected to other parts of Malta, with a nearby bus service in Bugibba. Bugibba Square is only 500m from the resort and is dotted with cafes, bars, clubs and restaurants. You can easily spend an afternoon strolling along the cobbled streets and into the many shops.
Don’t miss the chance to explore the reefs and wrecks around St Paul’s Bay. There are plenty of local dive centres that will take you to see the best places for squid spotting. And if you want to soak up some of Malta’s rich 7000-year history, then Mdina is worth a visit. Around half an hour’s drive from Qawra, Mdina is Malta’s old capital city, lined with golden stone that centres the Baroque cathedral.
For the little ones, take a trip to Bugibba Water Park or National Aquarium, and if you like golf, travel 16km to the Royal Malta Golf Club. A great location, the resort is situated only 15km from the capital city, Valletta and 16km away from Malta International Airport.

Loved my stay at the San Antonio
I loved my 4 night stay at the San Antonio. Nice rooms and a really comfy bed meant a good night's sleep. All the staff I interacted with were professional and very friendly, and the restaurants were pretty good too. Would I stay here again? Yes!
Good hotel, friendly staff
We found the room spacious and a nice balcony overlooking the sea. Staff are friendly and helpful. We visited in January, so off season and not all amenities open ie the outdoor pool although there is a very good indoor pool and gym too. The one downside we found was that the main restaurant was very 'canteen' like with tired 1960's decor although the food was very good. You get several other restaurants which you may attend once or twice a week and these were our preference...Selia Italian and Tagine for Indian / Moroccan. Great location on St Paul's Bay just 200m to bus station. All trips cost 2 euros.
Great hotel.
On our way home to Dublin after a wonderful week in DB San Antonio. I would highly recommend the hotel and we will be back very soon . All inclusive was good with meals and drinks aswell as cakes and coffees in cafe Maroc. The only disappointment for us was that the outdoor tables and chairs on the patio area near cosy bar was in a shaded area all day , maybe in winter these tables could be moved to the decking area in the sun at the opposite end or even do it half and half. Thank you DB San Antonio for a wonderful week and see you soon on sunny terrace soon hopefully.
