The hotel San Michele is situated only 100 m from the center and 3.5 km from the beach in a location with views over the bay of Naples, the Sorrento peninsula and the Amalfi coast. It is close to the chairlift that will transport you to the highest point of the island on Monte Solaro and only a short walking distance to Axel Munthe's famous Villa San Michele. The hotel was originally opened in 1904 under the name of “Hotel Molaro” and quickly became frequented by famous artists, writers and noble families. The hotel services include entrance hall with elevator, a 24-hour reception with safety deposit service, a restaurant, bar, room service and laundry service. There is also a terrace and swimming-pool with hammocks and sunshades. Tennis courts are available at the nearby “Capri Sporting Club”.

The guestrooms are equipped with TV, telephone and balcony or terrace.

Please note that the hotel will offer HB in an external restaurant and offers these options for the clients:
-Restaurant Le Arcate or Restaurant Casa Orlandi (both restaurants are circa 200/250 meters from the hotel);
-Clients will receive a 3 course menu: 1 first course, 1 second course, 1 dessert. Drinks not included. Clients can decide between 3 proposal of first course and 3 proposal of second course; or
-The hotel will offer a light lunch at the pool restaurant in hotel.
