A Great Choice

Very much enjoyed our 6 night stay at Atrium and would return to the hotel. There was a little confusion with the booking and payment when we made the booking but it was quickly resolved after a phone call. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating with our early arrival. The hotel is quite pleasing as the décor in the public space is a mixture of contemporary and antiques. I liked the attention to detail! Our room #503 with sea view was excellent. Located on the same level as reception, it was very quiet. We slept well and the bed was comfortable. The terrace with two chairs and table had a wonderful sea view. The bedding was a nice quality, with nice cotton sheets that were changed every second day. The only problem with the room was our A/C was not working for one day and night. The young lady from reception did not agree with us that the A/C was not working and we slept in a very hot room until I spoke to someone else at reception the next morning and maintenance was sent to the room. The A/C then worked well – thank you to the maintenance fellow. My only comment would be that staff should listen and send maintenance right away rather than thinking there is no problem with the A/C. Breakfast was very good. We only booked B&B and we were pleased with the breakfast selection. Staff were great during breakfast, efficient and provided good service. Chaises around the pool are limited. Beach access is down a trail from the main road through trees and bush to the beach. Wi fi throughout the hotel was great, a strong signal. Housekeeping was great, our room was clean - all staff are hard working, and do a great job. Overall we would stay again.

A stunning experience

Me and my wife have not long returned from a two week stay at the Atrium, and I cannot write enough good words about our experience. This was our third visit to the hotel, made even more special as we were married in the beautiful courtyard after getting engaged on the island on our last visit! The hotel itself is a beautiful, multi level building set into the hillside. We were made to feel extremely welcome as soon as we entered reception before being shown around and offered a welcome drink. The pool area and pool bar are stunning, especially in the bright Greek sunshine! The taverna is also a gem, tucked behind the pool bar with incredible views over the Aegean. Lots of sunbeds, parasols and seats and all kept immaculately clean. There are plenty of steps (seven different levels in total) which kept us fit, however there are lifts up to the sixth floor for those less able. The hotel is situated on a main road with no real pavement to speak of, but we were able to make it down to the nearby restaurants and shop easily enough and never had a problem with noise from the passing traffic. Breakfast was fantastic - plenty of choice and all fresh and regularly replenished. There was a good mix between traditional Greek items and more familiar hot foods, as well as a good continental and fruit selection. Pool bar snacks were reasonably priced and always fresh, as was the food served at lunch in the taverna. We didn't eat an evening meal in the restaurant but only heard good things about the quality and choice. There's a wide range of drinks and cocktails from the pool which are all excellent - a little pricier, but that's to be expected from a hotel bar. Our room (room 600) was clean, spacious and modern with tasteful decoration and a bright modern bathroom. The balcony also offered fantastic views over the bay. I should add that not all rooms in the hotel are quite as modern - the rest of the rooms above the pool did look a little more dated with a few less modern amenities, but I believe the hotel are in the process of renovating these to match. The ones we saw still offered great views and were kept just as clean by the wonderful housekeeping team. All of the staff we encountered during our time at the Atrium were always friendly and attentive - most were happy to make conversation and some even helped us with our (limited) Greek! The staff on reception were excellent and were always happy to help, from local recommendations to helping organise transport for all our guests. The owner, Elektra, helped to organise our wedding at the hotel which turned out to be a truly memorable day. Every detail was covered and nothing was a problem to arrange, even when we had to move our planned date due to travel restrictions. She helped ensure everything was done to the highest standard, which is reflected in the rest of the hotel. The setup in the taverna for our evening meal and party was perfect with the most incredible backdrop to the sea. We had a meat barbecue for our meal - all of our guests commented on how good the food and choice was. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel for either a stay or a wedding. To Elektra and all of the staff, thank you for making our time on the island so special. We will definitely be back!

Magical! 10/10

Wow! This hotel exceeded our expectations. It’s so beautiful. We had a delux sea room view. Stunning views of the bay. All very clean and tidy and great aircon! Not loud at all. Also have private wifi in your room! Breakfast was always great. Beans, bacon, sausage, crossiants! The pool is lovely with great views. Pool food is yum! Club sandwich and all your normal stuff. Great choice of cocktails too. The location is nice. Lots of local places and I recommend trying infinity blue! The beach is just down a pine forest path. If you want a nice beach vibe I’d check out the beach house, about a 10/15 min walk. The only thing is taxis are expensive. £15 euros to the town one way, but that’s not the hotels fault. There are also buses. I cannot wait to come back to the atrium! One of the most magical first holidays I’ve had with my partner! 10/10!
