All Inclusive luxury in Rhodes? You’ve got it! Eden Roc Resort is just the place for a blissful break. Think sea views stretching out from your poolside lounger, a tasty combo of restaurants, and everything from soothing spa moments to crazy kids’ club antics. You’ll find it about 4km from Rhodes Town on the edge of Kallithea village, perched above the hotel’s own beach.

And that sand-and-pebble shore's not only for sunbathing. It’s also home to a privately run watersports centre (not part of All Inclusive) offering canoeing, waterskiing and banana boat rides. Make sure you head down to the shore for breakfast at least once - you’ll have two of Eden Roc’s restaurants to choose from, right on the beach (available from May / June).

Otherwise, start your day with freshly cooked omelettes and the American-style buffet at the main international restaurant, or order your faves from the a la carte brekkie menu at the Cone all-day dining area. As for your other included meals, take your pick from up to nine dining options to savour round-the-world flavours, such as Peruvian, Asian and Italian. They’re all open for dinner (reservations required) and some for lunch too.

But it would be a shame not to try out some of the local restaurants. So, book a table with the Dine Out Experience. It’s an unmissable part of the Eden Roc All Inclusive perks. Just think, mouthwatering meze, creamy moussaka, sticky baklava - what would a Greek holiday be without it?

As for the bars, there are six! Relax to the max with service to your lounger beside the main saltwater pool. Sip a cool one on the beach. Taste the bubbles at the champagne and wine bar. See what’s mixing in the cocktail bar. Or, end the evening with a nightcap at Flokos (serving until 1am). And if you book a Pool View Bungalow or Pool Suite, you can chill out in the exclusive calm of Lounge 800, open from 9am to 8pm. Bevvies covered by your package include coffee, tea, soft drinks, draught beer, a selection of local and international spirits and liqueurs, and local wines.

Also included are nightly entertainment and daytime activities galore, like mini golf, tennis and beach volleyball. Challenge the clan to a ping pong match or join the fun of the sports tournaments. And keep the bambinos entertained with the mini club (ages 4-12 years), disco and waterslides, plus games in the shallow kids’ pool. There’s even a baby club for 0-3 year olds!

Ready for some me-time? Let the full-service spa take care of you, pick up the pace with a gym session or aerobics class, and get your Strictly groove on with a dance lesson. Or if you’re in the mood for a wild night out, the famous nightlife of Faliraki is just 12km away.

After all that, retreat to your own space, with a choice of rooms, suites and bungalows, in either the main hotel or the beautiful gardens. All have air conditioning, an included minibar (refilled on request), free Wi-Fi, satellite TV and a bath/shower, plus cots are available. Standard double/twin rooms (max 3 people) have spectacular views of the Med from the balcony - safes are available to rent at reception. Eden double/twin rooms (max 3 people) have sea or garden view, upgraded decor, an in-room safe and tea/coffee facilities.

Garden-view bungalow rooms (up to 4 people) have a twin/double bed, sofa beds in the lounge area (not a separate room), an in-room safe, tea/coffee facilities and a peaceful location. Pool-view bungalows have a separate bedroom and a larger shower, plus use of a shared saltwater pool and the Lounge 800 bar.

Executive Suites (up to 4 people) are larger than bungalows. They feature a spacious lounge with 32” flat-screen TV and a sliding door to the bedroom, luxurious bathroom (twin sinks, rainfall shower and separate bath), an in-room safe, tea/coffee facilities and walk-in wardrobe.

Looking for the ultimate Eden Roc hideaway? Set beside the shared saltwater pool in the bungalow village, with their own swim-up verandah, Pool Suites (up to 4 people) are even more roomy than Executive Suites. Other deluxe touches include two bathrooms with extra large rainforest showers, 26” LCD mirror TV in the bedroom plus an LCD TV in the lounge, Bang & Olufsen dock with an extra speaker in bathroom, Nespresso machine, sparkling wine on arrival and access to Lounge 800.

Alternatively, upgrade your stay to a Royal Suite (up to 4 people) on the upper floors of the main hotel. They’re the most spacious of all the rooms here, and super swish. You’ll get an extra large balcony with sea view, plenty of room to stretch out in the lounge, two bathrooms (including two rainforest showers and a separate bath), and an in-room laptop available on request.

All this makes Eden Roc a superb base for soaking up the sights of Rhodes. There are fantastic memories to be made in colourful little Koskinou village (only 800m away), the Insta-worthy calm of Kallithea Springs (1km) and splashtastic Faliraki waterpark (8.5km). Plus, you simply can’t miss the chance for a wander around the medieval alleyways and castle of Rhodes Town before an afternoon at the beach - the island capital’s home to one of the best sandy stretches on the island!

For must-do adventures further afield, take in the views from the ancient Acropolis at Lindos (42km) and pull on your comfiest shoes for a walk through the incredible Butterfly Valley (29km) - it’s full of butterflies from late July to late September and totally worth the trip.
