Located on the Greek island of Rhodes, Labranda Blue Bay is a 475 room resort, where the magnificent sea view extends to include the mountains of Turkey. To assist in your mission to keep the whole family happy there’s a waterpark, tennis courts, five pools (two just for the children), a kids’ club and a spa. As it’s All Inclusive you won’t need to worry about additional costs for your meals - eat and drink as much as you like.

The Dionysos restaurant serves a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you prefer to dine on the terrace overlooking the sea, you can instead choose to eat at Thalassa. For a savoury snack visit the Grill House where pizzas and gyros are prepared throughout the afternoon. Do you love Italian food? Reserve a table for your evening meal at Il Gusto for dishes prepared with fresh cherry tomatoes, basil, mozzarella and more. Prefer to eat like a local? Don’t miss Musses where the chef expertly prepares meze and traditional homemade plates. Ibicus, the pool bar, also serves light bites from midday to early evening. Sweet treats are on offer at Gelateria from 12pm until 11:30pm (surcharge applies).

There’s a further three bars, with two remaining open until midnight. So choose whether to chill poolside, on the beach or in the main building. Then decide whether you’d like tea, coffee, beer, wine, cocktails, fizzy drinks or fruit juice. Maybe relax while the kids join a cooking class, treasure hunt or learn about the sea. As the sun sets you may choose to join the evening’s entertainment that includes Greek nights, BBQs, live music and parties.

Standard rooms include a sofa bed, meaning there’s space for up to three people. They also have a balcony, plus a combined bath and shower. The family option has a separate sleeping area for two kids with single beds. If you like a spontaneous dip, book a bungalow for access to a swim up pool; these are available as either a double or family. The Deluxe rooms have extra space, including a large lounge area with an armchair.

Nature lovers should visit the Valley of Butterflies, around 15km away. It’s just down the road from Farma of Rhodes, an ideal place for the little ones. Here, they can feed the ostriches and camels, as well go for a ride on a pony. And you can’t miss The Old Town of Rhodes (13km away), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you can wander the ancient streets and see the different styles of building, each telling you something about the diverse history of the island. There’s plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants too!

Honey is one of Greece’s biggest exports. By making a 7km drive to the Bee Museum, you can learn about beekeeping and the production of this sweet, sticky food. Maybe buy some Melekouni as a present for friends and family back home. This tasty treat is made with sesame seeds, aromatic thyme honey, almonds and citrus peel and is often served to guests at christenings and weddings.

It is an amazing hotel!

It is an amazing hotel! The staff was excellent and pleasent! The location of the hotel is close to all important destinations. The room was really comfortable and spacious. The food was delicious It was really nice to be there.

I stayed here with my husband and 3 young children. Youngest (6 months) arrived late at night. To enter our room which an annexe room to find it infested with ants!! My husband went with the porter to look at a room in the main building to also find ants! Even though alot cleaner room! We got moved to a room above, which was slightly better no ants until the 2nd day. The fridge cupboard was hanging off and was not cleaned to any standard. The gyros/ pizza part disgusting cats on tables eating left overs. Very rude staff! We ate breakfast by the annexe, every morning we was greeted with a smile very friendly there. The water park was brilliant. We didn't use the main pool as it was far to busy! This hotel needs a good clean and extra staff by pool bar ect. Didn't even eat in the evening as main restaurant was always yo busy. Reception staff were always helpful. Would not come back here!

Lovely holiday with friends

We had a lovely holiday overall could not complain. The hotel is in a lovely location. We had the all inclusive option and apart from failing to discover the ice cream and pancakes till the last day and puddings being a bit samey all meals and snacks were great especially the Gyros. Drinks were great but we were disappointed to be getting drinks in a plastic cup in the evening till we discovered you just say you're inside or sit at the bar and you'll get a glass. Entertainment team were superb and we didn't have kids with us but certainly lots to keep them entertained and fun for adults too. We would definitely recommend Labranda not forgetting sunset dinner in the cabana is a must.
