“Poor not a 4 star”

To start the staff are polite and lovely the location is quiet not a lot for children in the area . The food is very poor very repetitive the cleaning is poor we was in room 214 there was mould on the walls when you sit on the toilet you would have you feet in the shower tray as it’s that small there was a lot of damp and rooms outdated this is not a 4 start in my opinion the hotel has a lot of potential just needs sorting

“Super Hotel”

Kalives Beach Hotel is in a fantastic location, right by a lovely sandy beach—which is also suitable for children. The hotel is highly recommended for guests of all ages, including families (with or without children), large groups, solo travelers, friends, and couples. We had an absolutely wonderful week; the staff were excellent—always smiling, always helpful, and truly dedicated to ensuring a perfect holiday. Whatever your preferences, the hotel will meet your expectations, and the all-inclusive restaurant is also great. Don’t hesitate—you can’t go wrong with Kalives Beach! We have personally stayed there several times.

“Incredible birthday & experience”

We had an amazing stay here. The food was great, a good selection to fit all. They went out of their way to make my birthday very special with cake and candles. I would like to specifically thank Rana & Putri for their attentiveness, kindness and hard work throughout our stay. They went out of their way to always ensure we had everything we needed. They were professional and polite and a credit to the hotel. The facilities and rooms are clean and tidy and well maintained. The cleaning stuff are also very friendly and there to help. The location is beautiful the harbour is only a 5 minute walk away where we hired a boat and saw so many beautiful sites. It’s only a 25 minute car ride to Chania to see the old town too which was also beautiful. It’s the perfect location

Our 4th time at kalyves Beach Hotel and as usual we had a warm welcome and the best stay, thanks to Penelope and momo, have been helpful, the food is a little better then the last year but still needs improvement. The entertainment was great, specially we didn't have a good Weather. We recommend the hotel.

“Excellent hotel on the beach in awful unseasonal weather”

6th visit and all as expected was excellent. Weather was awful but nothing anyone could do about that. The hotel and staff especially Penelope who sorted our ginger beer, Angelica on reception and of course Mo Mo who organised the entertainment. The only problem was the bar which only had one member of staff who had to serve, clear the tables and get new glasses from the kitchen all resulting in long delays. Not the barman's fault who worked hard.
