Kairaba Mythos Palace

A top choice for adults looking to unwind in a child-free haven, Kairaba Mythos Palace is exclusively for those aged 16 and over. So, you can spend your well-deserved Corfu holiday enjoying the luxuries of this 5-star hotel in peace.

In a quiet spot on the sunrise side of the island, you’ll be right by a beach when you stay here - with plenty more close by if you fancy mixing things up. The one at the idyllic fishing village of Boukari is around five minutes away by foot; head further afield and you’ll find the bigger, sandy Issos Beach about 10km away, with several others en route.

Thinking of hiring a car to help you explore all those beautiful shorelines and see more of Corfu? Kairaba Mythos Palace has its own on-site parking, so you can make the most of your fantastic location. You’ll only be around 40km from the culture and nightlife of Corfu Town (you could take a boat taxi, if you prefer) and 16km from the sumptuous Achilleion Palace - a former royal retreat that’s now a museum, with gorgeous gardens and incredible sea views.

And when you’re not out exploring or dipping your toes in the Med, you’ll find lots of ways to take it easy at this beautiful hotel. Like the full-service spa, for a start - think massages, sauna, fitness centre, and a chilled-out relaxation pool. Bliss!

You can also indulge in some sun-and-swim time at the two outdoor pools, yoga sessions, tennis, paddleboarding or a guided mountain biking trip, and that’s just a few of the activities available. Then, finish the day sipping cocktails with a view at the rooftop bar, or take a seat for the great-quality evening entertainment.

As for food, you’re in for a treat with three delectable restaurants, plus a beach snack bar. Whether you get up with the sun or love to have a lie-in on holiday, your breakfast will be ready and waiting at Zoe, the main buffet restaurant, with breakfast available from 7am right up to 11. Lunch and dinner buffets are served there, too, offering an array of regional and international dishes with a different theme each night.

Meanwhile, the hotel’s two speciality restaurants are perfect for mouthwatering evening meals, either by the pool at Olea Beach Restaurant or fine dining up on the rooftop at Ouranos. Or, head out to try some of the local eateries, where you could tuck into tasty Corfiot dishes such as sofrito (beef in a garlicky white wine sauce) or zorka (vegetable pie). There are some great places to eat in Boukari, and a good choice even closer to Kairaba Mythos Palace, too.

Come bedtime, you’ll have a beautifully styled room to call home. There are 276 in total, each with a balcony or terrace, air conditioning, satellite TV, tea and coffee facilities, hairdryer, safe, shower, bathrobes, slippers and beach towels. Take your pick from a choice of views - mountain or sea... or go for all-out indulgence with your own private plunge pool.

Handy hotel services include wi-fi, room service, dry cleaning, laundry and a 24-hour front desk.

There’s a choice of board rates at Kairaba Mythos Palace, including ‘ultra’ all inclusive for a really pampering holiday. Your all inclusive package here covers the following, plus some activities and entertainment: meals at the main buffet restaurant; snack bar; one meal per week at Olea speciality restaurant (set menu); drinks until midnight, including some international brands; and a minibar in your room, refilled daily.

The Ouranos rooftop bar and fine dining restaurant aren’t included on any board basis. Spa treatments, some activities and a number of other hotel services are also payable.

Great location. Poor entertainment

Great clean hotel with brilliant beach front location. Really nice rooms and lunch at the poolside bar was great. Although the pork gyro was very fatty. The one downside to this hotel is the entertainment. You can find better singers at the majority of terrible British karaoke nights. The buffet was average at best, but overall had a great holiday

Lovely week but improvement needed

We stayed here for 1 week all inclusive in June 2022. We had a wonderful week but feel there are some improvements to be made. Good points - Pool areas are beautiful, plenty of beds, infinity pools with amazing views - Beach bar which serves lunch 12-4. We ate here every day and the food was incredible compared to the buffet restaurant. One of the highlights for us and the service was brilliant - especially Vasili. - Views: the views are stunning, especially from the roof top bar - A lovely place to relax Needs improvement - Buffet restaurant: we are used to all inc food and know that it won’t always be to everyone’s taste but we found the food here extremely poor. Most days we skipped breakfast and ate lunch at the beach bar which was wonderful! Not enough choice, food undercooked/overcooked, no flavour. Nothing seemed fresh which was disappointing. The service was also poor compared to other areas of the hotel and found we had almost finished eating by the time our drinks came! Feel this area let’s the hotel down. - Evening entertainment: not really enough places to sit unless you get there extremely early - Didn’t impact us but wouldn’t recommend those with mobility issues as there are some steep hills - Location is quite remote. There is a taverna about 5 minutes down the road which I highly recommend for an evening meal but other than that, there is nothing around. Overall we had a lovely relaxing week.

Not the best

My sister and I stayed at this hotel for a weekend. When we arrived on a TUI coach with others it was about 9.30 on a Friday night. We booked all inclusive and expected to get some food only to be told The kitchen was closed but they had prepared something for us. We err given a s water logged cold sandwich after travelling all day. This was poor service as they know they will have guests arriving at that time. We were also given a voucher to eat at another restaurant. When we tried to book at this restaurant we were told it’s closed Sundays, it’s 2 day waiting list and you can only go if you are staying 1 week. We were staying 3 nights. When we queried why we had been given the Boucher in the first place the guest services manager was very rude. The staff here so not know what they are doing. And TUI should do better in regards to what you have to eat when you arrive. The all inclusive drinks are also a waste of time as the selection is very poor. Apart from the above the rooms were clean and everything else was good. I would not stay here again though I have stayed at better for the price we paid.
