We arrived 01/03 for my special birthday 03/03 I would be turning 50. Check In was quickly however you’d think at 7:30pm our room would be ready however we was told to get some dinner then come back. Taken to bungalow 2005, one of the older rooms but still lovely and a lovely surprise my partner had pre ordered my favourite flowers to be in our room for my birthday, the room was also decorated with toilet roll streamers and rose petals. Our first night we slept like babies due to the long day of travel, the second night not so good as the music from the jazz bar was on until 2am. We were moved rooms across to 6050 one of the new rooms in front of the new aqua park. This room was much quieter with a huge pool outside of our patio doors. Ok so the negative parts: there is quite a lot of construction work going on around the hotel, down by the restaurants is all slowly being knocked down causing lots of noise and dust, the driveway to connect the two hotels (Alf leila and jungle aqua to form Neverland) is being refurbished so there is diggers, lots of dust, many cables, relaying of pathways and tarmac, there are also big gaping holes left uncovered at the side of kerbsides I presume for eventual drainage. The rooms by the side of the new aqua park are also being refurbished these works go on well into late evening, witch lots of banging, drilling, grinding and cutting. The walk to the on-site spa and shops is also being refurbished so it’s all being dug up/cut down or simply smashed up by many many workmen who look at you as though you are an alien especially being blonde! Also there are many many Russians on site, now I don’t care who I holiday with but this is a family resort and on several occasions we have witnessed grown men completely intoxicated falling all over the place then being carried back to their rooms by friends or simply just dumped on a chair out of the way to sleep it off! This is during the day/early evening when going to dinner. Whilst we have been here both my partner and I have suffered with bad chest infections due to the dust, we spoke to easyJet via email as there is no rep on site who contacted the hotel front of house manager, he asked us to meet him and admitted that they hadn’t told easyJet about the works. As my partner was so sick he insisted that he took him to the on-site doctor who examined him and said it was a severe chest infection and bronchitis. All credit to the manager he drove us back to our room and arranged for our evening meal be brought to our room ( we didn’t hear from him again). So the burning questions would we return No, this isn’t really our type of hotel, we wasn’t advised it’s directly under the flight path, there are too many queues for food in any of the restaurants and there are too many drunken men in what is classed a a family friendly resort. Would we recommend this hotel: honestly yes we would for a family with children it’s an ideal place there’s lots to do with the many pools and slides, but only when all the work is completed and only if you can ignore the drunkards. The good from this hotel has to be our waiter mustaffa in the Soprano restaurant, he’s such a lovely man who certainly goes out of his way to be friendly. Mohammed in the ground floor lobby bar, he knew we wasn’t well and asked everyday how we was feeling .. he also makes an excellent cup of English tea. Our room cleaner .. nothing at all was too much trouble for him, if I left clothes on the bed I came back to them folded neatly, when we was sick he offered to get us medication, our room was kept spotless the whole time we was here. Sadly this hotel wasn’t for us and we wouldn’t return

My first time in hurghada and it was good choose to be in this hotel bec I spent the best experience in this 3 nights everything was amazing really start from the stuff they so friendly and smile to us all my holiday the service also good about animation they did great job the dance show was amazing

Entertainment staff have been great! Very engaging and have amazing activities running throughout the day! Special shout-out to Roxy for keeping us entertained with different activities! Lots of good food choices too!
