Olympic Lagoon Resort is a luxury All Inclusive hotel, just 2.5km south of the Paphos Old Town. There’s fun for the whole family, as well as adult only areas for those who prefer a quieter affair. Children's activities are split into two age groups - The Little Monsters for 3-12 year olds and Teenz for 13-18s. The youngest guests can be left at the creche, while their mums and dads take a well-earned rest.
Each of the four outdoor pool areas has a theme. The Blue Lagoon is surrounded by tropical palm trees and boasts waterfalls, seated whirlpools and back massage jets. Mayan Temple is based on the historic civilisation and includes water slides for the kids. Little guests can have a splash around in the Little Monsters area, featuring a pirate ship and a mini slide. In the adult only wing there’s Serenity Oasis, the perfect place to relax with a swim-up bar and waiter service.
The indoor pool provides a further place for a gentle swim. You can take your relaxation up to the next level at the spa, where a wide range of massages, treatments, rituals and beauty facilities are available to book.
The main buffet restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Each evening there’s a themed night allowing you to take your tastebuds on a journey around the world. One section is just for families. Here, you’ll find the kids’ buffet, as well as entertainment for the children. Adults wanting to dine in a quieter atmosphere have their own area too.
For a more formal dining experience choose from the range of a la carte restaurants. To sample the local meze or moussaka visit Captain’s Deck. Maybe you’ll choose to time travel back to 1950s America at Rock n Roll. This is where you can get your teeth into a juicy steak or burger, followed by a brownie or cheesecake. If you want to sample the cuisines of Thailand, China, Japan or Korea then don’t miss Seven Orchids. A further option, Garibaldi, is just for adults and dishes up an exciting range of pasta and rice dishes including chicken, beef, lamb, pork, salmon and seabass options. Vegetarians can choose between parmesan, ricotta and goat cheeses.
Captain’s Deck and Seven Orchids are available from April to October, while the other restaurants are open every month of the year. Reservations are required for the a la cartes, with the exception of Rock n Roll. You’ll be able to benefit from one included dinner at each option, except at Rock n Roll where you can consume as many meals as you desire. It’s open for dinner year-round and also available for lunch in the high season.
There’s five bars to keep you refreshed and hydrated, including a poolside option. You & Me is open for everyone from 6pm to 8pm, then it becomes adult only ahead of the evening’s entertainment. The whole family can enjoy a night at Xperience Arena, where music and magic are on the programme. All Inclusive is available until 11:30pm but you can continue enjoying drinks until 1.30am.
Deluxe Superior rooms are just for the adults and have a very generous 29m2 of space. They boast a king-size bed and a balcony overlooking the pool or sea. The bathroom is fitted with a bathtub and rainfall shower. There’s even a speaker in here, connected to the TV. Fishermen’s Junior Suites are also just for grown-ups and feature a separate walk-in shower and a living area. Family Junior Suites cater for up to five and include either single beds or bunk beds. These have a second TV so you can watch a documentary, while the kids watch cartoons.
There are numerous historical sites to visit in Paphos, so ensure you book a stay long enough to allow you to visit the sites, as well as leaving sufficient time to enjoy the many facilities Olympic Lagoon Resort has to offer. You could spend hours exploring the Kato Pafos Archaeological Park, an important ancient Greek and Roman city which still isn’t fully excavated. Here you will see mosaics, as well as the remains of temples and theatres. It’s just over 2km away, so if you’re feeling energetic you could walk. But you may prefer to drive or take the bus. For children who aren’t interested in history, you’re just 20km from the zoo.

What a beautiful hotel!
We finally got back after a 3/4 year gap because of covid. Beautiful hotel I have ever stayed at. Great location, on the beach and easy to go for a walk along the beach. You can see the sunset from the hotel too! Lovely food. You can’t beat an all inclusive. This hotel has the best staff. Constantly making you feel welcome. With the bad weather we found ourselves in the bars most of the time. I can’t even find the words to thank Elena Claudia. Drinks would be refilled as soon as you had finished them. She got to know everyone on a personal level. Such a lovely women! She remembered what we were drinking and had them ready for us. She definitely made our visit! The variety of all the restaurants was great. Love the fact that we could eat at one and still go to the main buffet restaurant if we wanted too after (just Incase you have fussy eaters!) The only small things I would change, the shower was slightly small my partner is 6ft, couldn’t fit underneath without ducking. We did have a rubbish view (no sea, swimming pool or town view! :() but someone has to have it. We booked a double but had 2 singles. The air con was broken, it would only pump hot air. We let reception know they handed us a fan but it had a timer on it so kept switching off. My only wish is for Long Island ice tea to be added to the menu, hahah! I asked a staff member to make the drink using all the alcohol available on the all inclusive band which I was denied, but I was able to purchase the drink if I wanted.. which I was confused at! I did order the alcohol separate and attempt to make it myself, but this ended in a sticky mess. Also just one last thing, my partner asked for a pancake to be made and asked for the chocolate sauce inside. as he is allergic to nuts, he asked for no nut, they agreed that this didn’t have nuts in. I tried the sauce upon his return and this was in fact Nutellaall other foods were clearly labelled for allegedly info, this was just a one off. I’m already missing this place but excited for our next visit! Already looking at dates to return!
What a beautiful hotel!
What a beautiful hotel! On arrival we were welcomed by the Lobby Porter at our taxi. The bags were loaded quickly with no fuss. We were taken to reception and quickly given our rooms & wrist bands. It was a nice touch to be given refreshing ice cold towels and refreshing herbal tea before being guided to our rooms. This is truly a 5* The rooms were fantastic, massive comfortable beds with an unbelievable sea view. We had a sea view room in the adult only wing and the other room in the party had a sea & pool view room. The fridges had water, orange juice and even some sandwiches in, no extra charge for this and replenished daily. Housekeeping popped by 3 times a day for either new towels or coffee/water or general cleaning. The adult room had a Nesspresso machine in with all the pods. The grounds are impeccably well kept. We didn't go in the outdoor pools as the water was still a bit too cold. We did manage to sit around the pools a couple of days. The waiting staff would bring drinks to you all day if required. We've been to AI hotels before and experienced the food usually on offer. All of us have to say that this hotel has the absolute best quality AI food we've ever experienced! Each evening has a type of theme, Asian, Mexican, Cypriot, Cypriot Greek, Mediterranean. Every night had something completely different. The salads were delicious. I don't think anyone could go hungry here. The location is about a 20-30 min easy, flat walk along the seafront to Paphos Harbour. If you're thinking of coming to Paphos, choose this hotel. You won't regret it.
Excellent Hotel
Everything about this hotel is excellent, this our second visit, we have tried to find fault but just can't, the staff are very dedicated and nothing is too much trouble, the food is very good and a great choice, and cooked in small quantities for freshness, the wine is of a quality you would expect from a 5 star establishment, definitely visit again.
