The Dome Beach Hotel & Resort is a family-friendly All Inclusive hotel on the outskirts of Ayia Napa. The hotel's white, low-rise buildings are set around four swimming pools fringed with palm trees. Two of the pools are for kids, with water slides and other activities. There's also a choice of three pool bars where you can get drinks and snacks to keep you going throughout the day. Steps away from the hotel is the Blue Flag Makronissos Beach. For mealtimes, the hotel's buffet restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, with ala carte meals served on the terrace in the evenings. If you want to work off some energy, you can play tennis or visit the gym. The hotel also has a spa with a sauna, treatments, and a whirlpool if you're looking for a more peaceful way to pass the time. The Dome Beach Hotel & Resort is within walking distance of the popular area of Nissi Avenue. To get to the main centre of Ayia Napa, you can take a taxi. Besides Makronissos, Cyprus has several more Blue Flag beaches for you to explore when you feel like a change of scene.
The Dome Beach Hotel & Resort is 10 m from one of Cyprus's Blue Flag beaches, Makronissos Beach, a popular sandy stretch with clear waters. There's an Ancient Greece-themed water park a short distance away. If you like to explore your surroundings in the evenings, you can take a walk over to Nissi Avenue, 1.8km from the hotel, where you'll find various shops, bars and family-friendly restaurants. You might also choose to explore Ayia Napa, whose main square is 5.5km from the hotel. Here you can shop for souvenirs, try out different places to eat or enjoy the area's famous nightlife.
Greek, Italian and Japanese are just some of the cuisines on offer in the hotel's restaurants. One dinner is included at each ala carte restaurant per week, and breakfast, lunch and dinner are available in the buffet restaurant. For drinks, there's a beach bar, three pool bars and two other bars.
There are two children's pools, one with water slides. The hotel also puts on evening entertainment.
The Dome Beach Hotel & Resort has two lovely pool areas for young and old. One of the children's pools has water slides and other fun things for the smaller children. There are also two jacuzzis at one of the pool areas.
Rooms at The Dome Beach Hotel & Resort are decorated in a simple style with pops of colour. All come with air conditioning and king-size double beds.

Great location awful food
I think it is safe to say that most of the good reviews are from weddings which they do very well, you will see 2 or 3 weddings taking place per day at this resort. I think they must give them different food for their events as the food in the main buffet is very bad, particularly the kids section who literally have a choice of mini frankfurter sausages, horrible cheap instant mash or spaghetti and tomato sauce day after day, the kitchen budget doesn't even stretch to chicken nuggets for the kids. It is awful for them, just awful. The salads are nice but everything else is made from the cheapest types of food possible. The chefs do thier best to make it tasty but I suspect they are working with a tiny food budget and have to order cheap food to make it stretch. The desserts are cheap and horrible too I am afraid. We are not too fussy with hotel food but by the end of the week we were all feeling like we were glad to get home just to get some decent quality food. The hotel is quite isolated too so no options to eat out either and you are a bit trapped. One exception was the Japanese restaurant where the food was very good indeed but you can only eat there 1 night on all inclusive. One of our children was also very sick one night, I cannot say for sure if it was the food as the rest of us were OK. The drinks were OK and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The pools were nice and clean although they could do with some new sun loungers, many were very worn. The location is great right next to Makronossis beach. The hotel beach is very stony so you will need to go to Makronossis beach if you want to swim in nice water. Overall the hotel is a bit run down but you could easily forgive that if the food was of a decent standard. The entertainment team were very good at getting everyone involved in water polo in the day and lots of fun and games in the evening. The Kareoke wears a bit thin, it is very loud. Ask for a room over the side by the kids pool if you have small children as the rooms by the main pool are so loud from all the wedding parties and the hotel entertainment that you won't get the kids to sleep before midnight every night. Overall we had a good holiday and the hotel is OK but we won't return because of the food. You also have to pay for WiFi in your rooms which doesn't work very well and leave a cash deposit for beach towels.
Great wedding with a great team!
The best time ever!! We got married at The Dome last month and everyone is still taking about it! I can't stop looking at the pictures, it makes me smile every time. Our rooms were upgraded and our view was just incredible. The rooms were cleaned regularly and the maids were so sweet. The hotel itself is beautiful, looks even better in real life..the pictures don't do it justice! The wedding was great! It was forecasted thunderstorms and we were due to get married on the Beach. The team moved everything indoors and it was even better than the original plan!!! Honestly it was so magical and beautiful and I wouldn't have changed a thing...including the storm! Our wedding planner Kiki was incredible! She was so so so helpful and answered every question we had. We discussed everything from flowers, seating plan......all the way to when can I drink haha. She kept me calm throughout everything and boy oh boy did she become my daughters best friend! My 3 Yr old absolutely adored her and would run up to her screaming her name. Kiki is honestly the sweetest, most kind hearted person there is. Thank you for everything Kiki, we love you x A huge thank you to Nicos and Maria who just felt like family. They were incredible, we felt like we had known them our entire lives. Both so helpful, both so loving. They were honestly amazing. I loved our little catch ups with Maria during our stay and just having a natter haha. Nicos was a sweetheart, I think he might need to think about being a photographer too haha. His pictures of us during the wedding were amazing!! Lastly, a really big thank you to our wedding photographer Antonis. He was so sweet and so calm. He made me feel so relaxed and wasn't pushy at all. He made myself and our guests so comfortable and he was super funny! I loved that he had a personality and got really involved. His pictures were UNREAL! Absolutely incredible. Thank you to you all at The Dome. We had the best time and cannot wait to come back. Hopefully next year haha! Love Tanisha and Nick x
