Adams Beach Hotel

Adams Beach is a beachfront hotel by Nissi Bay on the edge of Ayia Napa. The hotel has gardens that run down to the sand and ocean. Built in a contemporary style with white walls and glass-fronted balconies, Adams Beach has a marble-lined lobby and public areas with statement lighting and water features. Adams Beach has three outdoor swimming pools and a whirlpool, all surrounded by palm trees and looking out to the Mediterranean Sea. Two of the pools are interconnected and the third is separate from the others. There's a kids' pool and two waterslides. You can see the popular Nissi Beach from your poolside sun lounger. Shopping and entertainment is available on Nissi Avenue which is in walking distance from the hotel. During your stay at Adams Beach, you can book a massage treatment, swim in the indoor spa pool or relax in the sauna. You can play tennis on the hotel's court, attend an aerobics class and join in a game of water polo or table tennis. There's a playground and playroom for kids. The hotel has four restaurants offering a selection of local and international cuisines, plus two poolside bars. Evening entertainment takes place several nights per week.

Adams Beach is a short walk from Nissi Avenue, with its family friendly restaurants and varied shops. The hotel is 3.5km from the bustling centre of Ayia Napa, which has lively bars and nightclubs. At the town's harbour you can find seafood restaurants serving local specialities. You can learn about Cypriot history at Ayia Napa's medieval monastery, which is in the town's main square. The ancient Cypriot village of Omodos is a day trip away. Set in the foothills of the Troodos mountains, you'll find traditional handicrafts, an old wine press and a monastery hidden down narrow, cobbled streets.

Adams Beach has a buffet restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel also has four à la carte restaurants serving local and international dishes including sushi. The hotel's two poolside bars serve a variety of soft and alcoholic drinks throughout the day and evening.

Children can take part in the activities at the hotel's kids' club while you keep up your fitness regime at the hotel's gym.

Adams Beach Hotel has three different pool areas that cater for both grown up and young guests. At one of the pool area there are two water slides. One of the hotel's swimming pools is for guests aged 16 and over.

Overall disappointed; hotel for the masses

Visited for 3 nights as part of a longer stay in Cyprus. Overall, we were sadly disappointed by the hotel especially for the price of their standard room. We travel frequently and have stayed in many many good hotels, but this did not live up to its 5* rating. Pros: Good free parking Easy check in Great view from balcony Right on Nissi Beach Large pool area with comfortable beds and umbrellas Pool drinks of a very good standard, loads of choice and not horribly sweet. Taxis always waiting outside to take you into Ayia Napa for €10 Cons: Breakfast was chaos and of poor quality. Restaurant buffet area nowhere near big enough to cater to everyone. Huge queues (and lots of people ignoring the queues!) Swim up bar not manned despite a full hotel and busy pool. Slow and difficult to get served there, with no menus until you ask. No free Wi-Fi available (couldn’t make it work at all) Drinks expensive Room dated (but we did choose their older, cheaper room) Noisy until 1.30am at night on 4th floor Corridor being vacuumed outside the bedroom before 8am every morning woke us up No kettle/tea/coffee in the room and nowhere on-site open to buy it before breakfast Lots of noisy, splashing children in the pool, with no adults only area that we could find Service okay but we didn’t find it matched up with previous reviews When we checked out, we weren’t asked if we’d enjoyed our stay or had a nice time, and they charged the wrong card for our drinks/extras despite us asking to have it put on a different card Would stay elsewhere next time - which is a shame.

Stay away from this low level, mass market hotel

We just arrived and had 30 minutes queue at the reception to make the check in, surrounded by many kids running everywhere. We tried to work a bit in the meantime and the Wi-Fi is so poor that we couldn’t use it. At the pools all sun beds are taken, we could find one free only and share it among 4 of us. Sun beds are so closed to each other that you have no privacy, no relax and forget any concern about Covid. The staff try to do their best but are stressed out. We asked for an half board upgrade and we’re sent to the concierge. After knowing a bit more about how everything works and the price for the half board we should have made again the queue to pay at the reception. We will change place for sure!
