Sitting in the heart of the St. James’s Gate Brewery, the Guinness Storehouse is home to seven floors of exhibition space, including three bars and two eateries. Set aside a few hours and make the most of your trip to this Irish institution.

Designed in the shape of a giant pint glass, you’ll find out more about the history of ‘the Black Stuff’ as you walk from floor to floor. From the evolution of the Guinness brand to the unique brewing process, the Storehouse takes you through all kinds of interactive displays and exhibits, making this a hands on, unforgettable experience.

From the second floor tasting experience to lessons in pouring the perfect pint at the Guinness Academy, there’s plenty to keep you occupied in this innovative museum. When you reach the top floor Gravity Bar, you’ll be greeted with incredible 360 degree views of Dublin as the talented bar staff serve up your complimentary pint, dubbed the ‘best Guinness in the world’. So grab a seat, take plenty of pictures and enjoy the cityscape as you sip on your drink.

For an extra-special tour, you can upgrade to the Connoisseur Experience and discover more about the four varieties of Guinness as you taste samples of each. If you’re visiting in March, the Storehouse also holds an annual St Patrick’s Day Festival with live entertainment.

Before leaving, pay a visit to the Guinness Flagship Retail Store where you can browse the memorabilia and buy a souvenir to take home.
