Just outside the green space is a hidden gem - Newman University Church, dating from 1856 and with a Byzantine Revival interior, a rare sight in western Europe.

The world-famous Temple Bar area is around 10 minutes walk from the hotel. On the way you’ll pass one of Ireland’s most bizarre attractions - a leprechaun museum. Take a short diversion to cross the River Liffey using the Ha’penny Bridge, dating from 1816. Despite the name it’s free to cross today, so there’s no need to find a coin that’s been taken out of circulation!
