Playaolid Suites & Apartments

Classic Spanish style meets relaxing vibes at Playaolid Suites & Apartments in Fanabe, Costa Adeje. Whether you opt for the flexibility of self catering or the ease of all inclusive, you can look forward to a great value getaway at this family-friendly hotel.

Those totally Canarian whitewashed walls and tiled roofs are just a short 800m walk from the golden sands of Playa de Fanabe. With its clear waters and Blue Flag status, it’s perfect for making the most of Tenerife’s famous year-round sun. And when the temperature does drop a little in the winter, don’t worry, the Playaolid’s main and kids’ pools are both heated during the cooler months. When you’re not taking a dip, do as the locals might and indulge in a siesta on the grassy poolside, or grab a mocktail and a hot dog from the bar.

There are three other bars, too, plus an international buffet restaurant serving up three meals a day - including a kids’ menu during the school holidays. So, they can tuck into chicken nuggets or hamburgers while you enjoy the speciality dishes of the regular theme nights or traditional local fare. There’s even a special kitchen catering for a range of dietary requirements, including coeliac, allergies, diabetes and lactose intolerance. As for eating out, there’s a smorgasbord of options nearby. You won’t have to look hard to find a table with a sea view, either. No wonder Fanabe’s such a popular area!

Looking for a chocolate fix, picnic provisions or something to entertain the kids on the flight home? You'll find supermarkets, gift shops and a great choice of other stores 200m from the hotel at Fanabe Plaza. Very handy if you’re self catering, in need of souvenirs, or forget to pack some of your holiday essentials!

Venture a little further afield and you'll find the famous Thai-themed water park, Siam Park, just 2.6km away, and all the entertainment, nightlife and fantastic surfing of Playa de las Americas is around 5km away. Love a good view? Pull on your comfiest shoes and follow the rough path up Chayofita Mountain, a short climb above the beach at Los Cristianos (approx. 5.5km from the Playaolid). The coastal panorama’s totally worth it.

There’s lots to keep you busy back at the hotel, too. With everything from aerobics classes to karaoke and themed parties, there’s entertainment for everyone, day and night. The kids’ club lays on all sorts of activities for 3-11 year olds, such as cooking sessions, shows and foam parties, while the teens’ club is open for those aged 12-17 in the evenings - think movie nights, table tennis and gaming.

After all that, you’ll be glad of your comfy room for a good night’s rest, ready to do it all again the next day. Playaolid offers an excellent choice of studios, apartments and suites, with options for couples, friends, families and luxury-seekers.

Studios have a double bed (can be separated into twins), kitchenette, satellite TV, ceiling fan, safe and a balcony or terrace. Premium apartments are similar with a separate bedroom and living room/kitchenette. Family apartments have a sofa bed in the living room, Playstation, changing table, bottle warmer and a highchair.

For the ultimate Playaolid experience, go for a suite. Sleeping arrangements are more flexible with two double beds and a sofa bed in the standard suite, plus you’ll get WiFi, two smart TVs, a hydromassage bath and air conditioning. Family suites are also available.

We went to this hotel for new year and the hotel was dirty and very dark in hall ways of evening. Food not the best. The room we had was of poor quality we only booked this hotel as it was recommended to use we also had it booked for march 2022 but we have changed it. There was one good thing going for this hotel thats the drink they dont do small measures but i would recommend you buy your own coke or lemonade to go with your drink if needed. Cats roaming around leaving the dirt everywhere but no staff wiuld clean it up. I would not go there again

We came here a few years ago , then November this year and we are there now . If you want 5star pampering ,gym , spa , caviar and champaign for breakfast etc it's not for you . If you want nice spacious ultra clean apartments , all with south facing balconies , crisp white bed linen , nice white towels , laid back atmosphere , friendly professional staff , in a fabulous location for going everywhere and you don't want to break the bank .It's here. We are greeted every morning by the lovely smiley Yanis in the dining room for breakfast , there is everything you can wish for , beautifully cooked . The coffee is to die for . Now this is a 5 star breakfast. Masks are to be worn whilst we are getting food ( they are very strict on this , and we like it that way ) . The dining room manager is on the ball and is super funny and friendly with the kiddies . There is something at mealtimes for everyone , wine and beer on tap lunch and evening dinner . There's always a roast, also fresh griddles fish and meats, themed foods like Mexican and Chinese nights, fabulous salads, breads, cheeses, hot dogs, burgers , pizza for kids . ice cream etc etc. The dining room is super spotlessly clean and staff work very hard ..Hand sanitiser spotted at stations all over the hotel . Any problems with rooms , hotel maintenance there in a jiffy and the cleaning ladies that do your room are superb . There are 3 pools .One heated . There's 2 outdoor pool bars , one that serves snacks and drinks all day and music playing , very chill super clean , and a quieter pool just serving drinks . There's entertainment at night outside .Hotel.is well organised and the staff are amazing . We mainly go to this hotel for accommodation and location so the food and drinks are a bonus. Thank you Playa Olid .

Nice hotel

Stayed here for two weeks over the Christmas period. I've got to say the hotel is very clean in all areas. Room was cleaned on a regular basis. All the staff are friendly and helpful. They put a real effort into making Xmas and New year's Eve special. We ate out most of the time, that was our choice. The food that we did have we all to a good standard. The drinks are decent, the only minor problem is the soft drinks. They are far too sweet. Which is the only negative. We didn't see any of the entertainment in the evenings as we'd go out. I'd say the only thing that lets the hotel down is some of the guests. Who don't consider other people. Lots of noise at all hours. Not the hotel's fault. It's in a great location, everything is in walking distance. Overall we had a great holiday.
