Tired and dated but value for money

The hotel is in need of redecorating and some repairs to regain its original condition. The apartment was a really good size with good facilities although it was partially subterranean. It was also next to the staff cupboards and restroom which meant it was noisy at times. The restaurant was clean and tidy but the food was bland and repetitive. It was also small and led to queues to access it at times. The pool bar is accessed via stairs which makes its less attractive to people with disabilities. Like most communal spaces here the bar was small and very busy at peak times. As it was low season the entertainment offered was limited. The hotel is priced fairly and represents value for money. As a location it was convenient for the local restaurants and bars.

Budget hotel

This is a budget hotel and you get what you pay for. We only really ate breakfast as the other meals were limited choices. We only had 2 drinks at the bar as we mainly ate out. The room was dated and we had problems with the toilet and drainage on 2 occasions. This was dealt with swiftly, but appears to be a problem in general there. The bathroom door did not shut either which meant limited privacy It was however reasonably clean. There is a kitchenette but you need to hire kettle etc and this costs €10 which you get back when you return it. The staff that we did deal with were very friendly and helpful the gentleman on reception checked us in and explained the whole all inclusive rules, popped our bands on and stored our luggage even though we were early. They also allow you to keep the band when you check out which is very helpful. The location was fab for us as we enjoyed the walk, which is honestly quite a hard walk back up a very steep climb. The weather was amazing the nearby bars and restaurants are amazing! All in all we had a great time

My girlfriend and I stayed at the start of march 2023, we had the worst holiday ever which the hotel is to blame, first off when we arrived we had to wait hours for our room to be ready ,while we waited we were offered to sit in a lounge area which included bathrooms and showers which was disgusting the couches in the lounge were covered in dust and the showers were covered in mold, when we finally got the keys to our room it was also disgusting, the whole room smelled of urine ,the beds were the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on , what we were told was a double bed was two single beds pushed together , one bed was higher than the other and the mattresses were like rocks with springs, the bathroom was tiny and the water from the shower kept switching from hot to hold every two minutes , food and drink in the hotel was also atrocious just the cheapest of cheap pre made Ingredients thrown together in slop even the desserts were just left in the packaging they had come in , but what had made it the worst hotel ever was the fact it was unsafe , when we had first arrived at the hotel I had witnessed a worker try to enter my hotel room while I was in it , this was not a maid , on our last night we had woken up to find our bags had been stolen while we were asleep , these bags included our passports , the lack of empathy from the staff was appalling I was even told there was no cctv. The hotel had done literally nothing about the break in which was suspicious, after this I walked a whole lap around the hotel trying to find a taxi to the police station , after I went to the police I had phoned the hotel to let them know the police were involved a few moments later when I arrived back to the hotel a night porter had said he had found my girlfriends handbag which included our passports , he had told us he found it on the street outside the hotel , this was untrue as I had done a full lap of the street twice that morning . The only positive thing I can say about the hotel is that the bar staff was very friendly . After my passports had been returned to me all the other staff in the hotel had been exceptionally rude to us and kept staring and whispering to one another , I would not recommend this hotel to anyone
