Beatriz Playa and Spa Hotel is on the south-east coast of Lanzarote and is within driving distance of the island's capital, Arrecife. It's set on the promenade overlooking with ocean, and is within walking distance of sandy Playa de Matagorda beach. The area immediately around the hotel is popular with visitors and there are shops, restaurants and parks all within easy reach. The hotel has a spa on site, where you can relax and unwind with a sauna or a Turkish bath. There's also massage therapy available if you feel like even more indulgence. The spa offers beauty and wellness treatments, including facials, wraps and exfoliations. Outside, the pool area is fringed by palm trees and features two main swimming pools and a separate kids' pool. If you want to stay active during your stay, you can join in with one of the hotel-run aerobics sessions or work out in the gym. Basketball and football are also on offer, or you can play a few games of tennis on the tennis court with equipment you can hire from the hotel. There's also a mini golf course for some laid-back games in the sunshine, or you could play beach volleyball down on the sand. For afternoons away from the shore, there's a golf course and an amusement park a short drive away. The hotel has six restaurants and three bars to choose from. After dinner, you can enjoy some live family-friendly entertainment or play a few rounds of pool or table tennis. There's also a dedicated kids' entertainment programme.

Beatriz Playa & Spa is 6km from Lanzarote Golf Course, so if you're keen, you'll be able to play a few rounds in the sunshine. The main shopping centre, Biosfera Plaza, is 5.1km away. Here you'll find four floors of shops, as well as amusements, bars and restaurants. You can also drive 15.7km to a water park. The sandy beach at Playa de Matagorda is within walking distance, where you'll find beach bars, cafÈs and restaurants along the shore. You can also visit the beach of Los Pocillos, which is within walking distance too. The calm waters here are popular with windsurfers and beach-lovers alike, and the area is a bustling hub for visitors with lots of places to eat and drink, as well as shops and a promenade connecting it to the resort of Matagorda.

Beatriz Playa & Spa has three bars, one of which is a piano bar, as well as six buffet restaurants, all with outdoor seating. The restaurants are open for breakfast, late breakfast, lunch and dinner, and specialise in a range of cuisines, from local Canarian dishes to Asian and Italian food.

Beatriz Playa & Spa has a kids' club, with activities including sports and crafts. There's also a children's playground steps away by the beach.
