7308 reviews
H10 Lanzarote Princess is a family-friendly hotel in the popular resort town of Playa Blanca, on the southern tip of the Spanish island of Lanzarote. The hotel overlooks the mountains and is surrounded by natural greenery. Whitewashed walls and modern architecture gives the resort a welcoming feel. Playa Dorado is steps from the hotel, where you can stroll along the sands and enjoy views over the Mediterranean Sea. Shops, bars and restaurants are within easy reach, and many local attractions are also a short drive away. There are three outdoor pools at the hotel, two of which are heated. You can also use the heated indoor spa pool. Younger swimmers can make the most of the kids' pool. If you like to keep active, you can try out an aerobics or aqua aerobics class. There are also tennis court facilities, with equipment available to use. For some family fun, have a kick-around out on the football ground. Head to the gym if you want to go for a workout session during your stay. To relax and unwind, you could visit the hotel's spa, where you can select from a variety of massages, as well as beauty treatments such as facials, manicures and pedicures. You can also spend some time in the sauna. The hotel offers family-friendly entertainment on a daily basis. This usually includes live shows and music performed in Spanish and English. Children can also enjoy the hotel-run kids' discos or play with consoles in the games room.
Papagayo shopping centre is a short walk of 100m from H10 Lanzarote Princess. Here, you'll find a range of shops selling everything from clothing and homeware, to gifts and jewellery. There are also several fast food places within the centre. Playa Dorada is 300 m away and has a number of beachfront bars where you can pick up a refreshing drink and enjoy some tapas. The main centre of Playa Blanca is 600 metres from the resort and has popular attractions including a water park, ancient castles and an amusement arcade. Playa Blanca also has a bustling nightlife scene with plenty of local music in the various bars and clubs around the town. For a family day trip, you can visit Timanfaya National Park which is home to many dormant volcanoes. You can explore the natural surroundings and enjoy the views over the scenic rocky landscape.
The hotel has five bars, including a coffee shop and snack bar, where you can pick up drinks and light bites during the day. You can get breakfast, lunch and dinner at the buffet restaurant, and you can also book for dinner at either of the two ‡ la carte restaurants.

Looks good on the surface!
Rooms clean but looking tired. Food poor, poorly cooked most meat undercooked and very little variety. Not suitable for young or teenagers. Too few service points and lots of waiting around. Breakfast best meal. Bar very good. Swimming pools were freezing. Outdoor pool was great. Good location just shame about overall facilities which need updating and maintenance. Beds were uncomfortable
Disappointed
Having thoroughly enjoyed a stay in the Lanzarote Princess just before Covid struck, we were eagerly anticipating a return. Whilst the hotel was largely unchanged with our ‘Superior Room’ very good, the hotel badly needs a refurb, especially in the Lounge. Old antiquated and uncomfortable furniture is well past its best. The lounge is full and badly needs brightened up. In addition the food in the restaurant, whilst plentiful, was rarely hot enough. Definitely 3 Star food in what should have been 4 Star. The service was good and the staff are to be commended for their efforts
A disappointment!
Firstly, the hotel is meant to be a 4 star; however, I feel it is more like a 3 star. We have stayed in other 4- and 5-star hotels and been all inclusive, but this hotel did not meet the expectations we were hoping for. They were short of staff, and this impacted on the service. A lot of times we had to queue and wait a long time to get served at the evening bar. The food in the buffet was often cold or lukewarm, and a lot of the time the food was not being replenished quick enough leaving little choice. Unless you went to the buffet at opening time it was hard to find a clean table and the food quality would not be great. We felt this meant that we often ate out as we did not want to be rushing to get to the restaurant just so we could have a good quality meal, as this should be all the time! It definitely felt like the hotel was filling up with guests but sadly the staff were unable to keep up with the demand. There seemed to be a lot of hotel management present the second week, however this did not seem to impact or solve the problems we were seeing or experiencing. It was a shame that the main bar in the lobby area did not open until 5pm each day, as we would have liked to have had the option to have somewhere to sit in the day with a drink to cool off, not just in the coffee shop. Sadly, there were lots of small issues that just built up over the two weeks, resulting in us not enjoying our holiday, for example it may seem very petty, but the hotel music was a repeated playlist that literally had the same 8 songs on repeat...after 2 weeks it was becoming a problem and very irritating! Also you had to do everything through the hotels app.....I have no problems with using technology, but to use it to see drink menus was a little too much and it would have been nice to feel like you didn't need your mobile with you all the time on holiday! At the end of the holiday, we received a bill under our room door. We were not expecting this being all inclusive! We obviously spoke to reception about it and they confirmed that they had charged me for the pool towels (even though we had not checked out so were still planning to use them before we left that day), and they had charged us for the cleaning of them as we had swapped them for fresh towels on several occasions throughout the two weeks. We have never been charged for this service at other hotels as it has always been part of the service and were n9ot made aware of this charge. Furthermore, the final part of the bill was for cocktails that had been charged to our room! One, I would not expect anything charge to our room that was included in our all-inclusive package so why they were on there was very odd, but two, we did not have the cocktails and it seemed that someone had put drinks onto our room!! It has put me off ever going half board - unless you are keeping a note of what you are ordering and expecting to pay for at the end of a holiday, anyone could be putting things onto your room! This might not be the standard way of doing things in other hotels that cater for half board, but I do think this hotels system needs to be rethought. This was our first holiday since Covid and therefore it was a well needed and looked forward to break, and our first time visiting Lanzarote, and not a cheap holiday! However, after this experience we have been put off ever going back to Lanzarote and we will certainly not be using the hotel chain again.
