Very nice family hotel‚ very clean‚ very spacious and restrictions so it felt safe having Covid19 in mind. Big pool area‚ a lot of sun beds‚ tennis court‚ pooltables‚ playground for small and older children etc.

great holiday stay in Gran Canaria

we really enjoyed our stay in this hotel: very friendly staff, great animation team, big room with beautiful view on the sea, good respect of covid rules, great for kids ( so there were many small ones), beautiful garden and nice, fresh pools with fun slides. I can recommend it for a fully relaxing family holiday!

Second visit - lovely for young families

Jan 2022 | candyr2022
This is our second visit to this hotel, came for Christmas / NYE in 2019 and returned for our first trip abroad as soon as allowed. We stayed the same period this time for NYE. What’s great: - We love the family room size, we love the separate rooms and the walk in wardrobe - makes life very easy and despite the two beds pushed together, for us it feels like a holiday when you aren’t sleeping on sofa beds!! - cleanliness - exceptional. The rooms were made daily with clean towels, the care taken in cleanliness was great. - the staff - especially in the kitchen, dining hall and bar areas. Managers greet you regularly. Vigilant lifeguards. - COViD - staff are consistent with the rules, could hear mask and glove rules being enforced - salads, fruit, breakfast all v good - NYE was wonderful, the food was amazing and we finally managed this time to bag VIP seating for the night. Fireworks were amazing over the beach area!! - animation team worked exceptionally hard. - self serve drinks - pool was a bit chilly but my two were in constantly and LOVED the slides - upkeep of grounds and the palm trees - lush! Especially the noisy parakeets! - lack of smoking around the pool What could be better: - variety of food, really struggled for the kids for basic plain chicken or fish. The kids food stand was really poor. Just beige. It was hard for my two to “jostle in” with the adults for decent protein. Lunch ok for pasta, snack bar very tedious. I feel this should be healthier encouragement for children PLUS reduce unaccompianed children wandering looking for something! - activities for kids - it seems like small kids are catered for well, but our two really struggled (8&10) felt animation was aimed either at adults or smaller kids. A better schedule for older kids such as organised football would be great. We only got asked to join for darts (the staff Member was awesome! Thank you!) but the kids had to be supervised by a parent under the age of 14. And asked once for a type of bowling. I didn’t see any kids specific activities posted anywhere. - I’m so sorry to say this but the adult entertainment could be better. I know the team work hard - the best we saw was Dancing Shoes. The NYE entertainment was really poor. It was a lot better 2 years ago. - booking the restaurant removed some of our spontaneity- we understood why, but the benefit of all inclusive for us is the freedom of time of day eating. Didn’t understand how it managed numbers when we just chose from a sheet… - I appreciate the balloon launch was for charity but it showed a hideous disregard for the local environment! Other stuff - the beach is gorgeous, walk down the hill or down the steps and spot the crabs on the rocks! - gorgeous cocktail bar at the bottom of the hill in the centro commercial - families get a cab to Holiday World - lots of fun rides, opens at 5pm and makes a lovely evening - Maspolomas is approx €9 and the Indian restaurant is beautiful! Plus a gorgeous evening walk. - reception staff have always called a cab for us All in all, we have enjoyed both of our holidays here. We wouldn’t return now as it doesn’t feel like the right fit for our older children but we have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you!
