Sleep Quality

Very clean and bright

Jan 2022 | Ventoraisle
Staff friendly in the main, very clean and bright. Food well presented and good choice. Lifts super quick and views from front of hotel very good. Modern and clean. Easy walk to beach bars shops and bus garage and docs for lat flow etc test Minus - smokers sprawled at the front, roar of traffic from motorway when sitting by the pool not to mention the beach towel blockers! Better off at the beach!

Christmas Break 14th - 28th December

Jan 2022 | Steve M
Lovely hotel, friendly staff. Room :- good size room large bathroom with rain shower, only downside, towels are very thin and lack of any drawer space. Food:- excellent quality and choice, Christmqs night buffet had everything that you could imagine. Drinks:- good quality, self service drinks available 24/7 This was our first Christmas away from home and we were unsure what to expect, what we got was excellent. The land train ride on Christmas Eve, arranged free by the hotel, going around the streets playing Christmas songs with Santa was a super touch. Entertainment around the pool with the elves kept everyone busy with games, quizzes, bingo etc. Most of the rooms are street views, we asked for a pool view and got room 172, only the rooms on the first floor offer a pool view the rest are street facing so you need to specify when booking. No need to get up at silly o'clock to get a sunbed as the doors to the pool area and restaurant do not open until 8am. The sunbeds could do with updating as they are not very comfortable !! As this is a non smoking hotel we would definitely return!

Disgraceful behaviour

Dec 2021 | J M
I am currently on holiday at the Abora. Yesterday without any prior warning hotel security removed guests towels from sunbeds during breakfast and dumped them in a pile. This means families must take breakfast separately while one member "guards" sunbeds. We are constantly informed that the hotel is in "Stage 3" covid alert, I suggest that this practice with towels poses a covid contamination risk so the hotel staff are potentially breaking Spanish law. I will not be returning. This is absolutely outrageous behaviour.
