H10 Tindaya is a beachfront hotel in Costa Calma, a coastal resort in the south of Fuerteventura. The family-friendly hotel is on Costa Calma Beach, popular with families because of its clean sands and calm waters, and within walking distance of the centre of Costa Calma. H10 Tindaya overlooks the beach and North Atlantic Ocean, and has a spacious pool area decorated with tropical greenery and palm trees. The hotel has three outdoor pools that are surrounded by a sun terrace divided into smaller areas. To keep younger guests entertained, there's also two kid's pools with water slides and a pirate ship, as well as a playroom and mini golf. If you're looking to stay active, the hotel has a gym and organises daily activities such as volleyball, yoga and football for guests of all ages. If you'd prefer to relax and unwind, you can head to the spa, which has a whirlpool, an indoor heated pool and a sauna. The hotel has a buffet restaurant that's open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There's also an a la carte restaurant that's open for dinner. The hotel has two bars that serve snacks and alcoholic drinks, one of which is in the pool area.

H10 Tindaya sits right on Playa de Costa Calma. From here, there's access to the coastal path, which allows you to discover beaches further along the coastline such as Playa de Sotavento de JandÌa. The resort centre of Costa Calma is 2km from the hotel and has bars and restaurants that serve local and international cuisine. The island capital of Puerto de Rosario is a 70km drive from the hotel, and is home to attractions such as a church dedicated to the city's patron saint and Caleta de Fuste, a resort popular with tourists because of its shops and boutiques.

At the hotel's pool bar, you can opt for a later continental breakfast until noon and enjoy cakes, sandwiches and ice cream in the afternoon. The a la carte restaurant serves mainly international and local dishes, but sometimes organises special evenings where it offers Italian or Japanese cuisine.

For children, there's an international kids' club and a mini disco several evenings a week. The hotel puts on family-friendly entertainment throughout the week.

A large pool area, divided into three smaller areas separated by trees and shrubs. At the large saltwater pool there is a separate slightly higher water slide. To ride it you must be 120 cm long. There are four more lanes at the same pool and these are at the pirate ship. To travel the smaller tracks, you must be 105 cm long. The depth at the tracks is 185 cm and 105 cm respectively.

Thank you to a great hotel manager.A great stay apart from one thing. You really can't fault any of the staff all working very hard. Thank you to Olivia in Mike's coffee and tea bar the lattes and tea a nice touch to relax. (Open 12 to 6pm) All food is faultless lots of choice I loved the amount of fish on offer. I had read a few reviews saying food was cold however there is a microwave to heat up if its a problem. The drinks are all named drinks which was a refreshing change. All rooms are cleaned everyday and towels changed. Beach towels were provided and tickets to change twice in the week. If you have poor mobility just please bear in mind there are lots of steps but then again lots of lifts to help with that apart from you might find it hard with steep steps at the beach . I'd say the only let down was the evening entertainment wasn't up to much but everyone's tastes differ

Another fantastic stay

Our stay here was fantastic overall. The all inclusive deal is well worth the money and offers a really good variety of food each day including lots of different seafood which was really nice to see. The drinks include premium brands and the cocktail menu is pretty decent. Mike's coffee is a real bonus but it would be better if it could open slightly earlier. Their iced coffees are absolutely delicious! We didn't bother with the nightly entertainment as it wasn't really up our street and our son who is 8 found the kids disco too young for him so it would be good if there was something more for the older kids in the future. The hotel itself was spotless as far as we saw and you can see that there is constant upkeep and maintenance going on which is nice to see as it means they're on top of things. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. Previous reviews allude to a particular lifeguard and we did encounter him. He is more strict than others and was stopping people from playing with balls etc in the top pool whereas others didn't seem to be bothered. The pool with the slides was absolutely freezing cold and took a bit of getting used to however I'm sure in the height of summer that might be better! The area is quite quiet but for us this wasn't a problem as we weren't looking for busy Nightlife as a family. There are enough cafés, bars and shops to keep you going if you want a few days or nights away from the hotel. There is a German bar called Mike's Roadhouse next to the petrol station and bus stops which we visited a few times. A must for any rock music fans and Mike, the owner is great. It was really quite refreshing not to see any English bars/restaurants and it was actually nice to be in the minority (or so it appeared) as an English family! We would absolutely come back to this hotel. We had read a few of the reviews before travelling and were a bit concerned about some of the negative comments but honestly, I have no idea what these people are on about as our experience has been nothing but good. Absolutely recommended.
