You're also welcome to book in at the spa at the sister hotel nearby, Labranda Corralejo Village Hotel (300m away).
Naturally, there's something for everyone when it comes to entertainment, from French bowls to yoga sessions in the daytime, and karaoke to shows in the evening. Plus, the mini club runs six days a week with activities for 4-12 year olds, followed by a kids' disco after dinner.
If you love a mouthwatering buffet, this place is a tastebud-tickling treat. Lobos Beach Restaurant offers international and Italian specialities, while Botanic Lounge Restaurant serves a selection of local and international dishes, with three theme nights each week. (Please note that the restaurants might not both be available during your holiday.) There are also two bars, one by the pool for daytime refreshments and snacks, and the Faro's Club lounge, which is open until midnight.
Booking All Inclusive? You'll get buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner with live cooking and theme nights, plus a range of soft drinks, tea, coffee, water, juices, local spirits, local beer, wine and selected cocktails from 10am to 11pm. Your included meals will be served in either restaurant, depending on the time of year and hotel occupancy. Premium drinks are available at a charge.
Each of the 288 rooms and suites has a furnished balcony or terrace, free WiFi, a fridge, 42" TV, air conditioning and a safe (charge payable). Not bad but not great
First of all, only stay here if you have small kids. We made the mistake as a couple of staying here and felt out of place. Everything is tailored to children - kids club, kids pool with a huge inflatable they brought out on one of the days, etc. The woman in charge of entertainment is great but had to do it all on her own. Don’t get me wrong, the rooms are big, the staff were friendly and location is fantastic (so close to waterpark, beach and shops) but the food is average and there are always long queues for it. There are also clear signs to not reserve sun beds or towels will be removed but everyone did meaning we were left wandering around trying to find one after breakfast, seems like the hotel don’t actually enforce that rule. The gym on site is big but all the equipment was bought in the 70s and has not been updated since (rust and half broken).
Nice but not great & definitely not 4 star
Pros: - Lovely large spacious bedrooms - Hotel in a good location - Unlimited access to the water park included in our holiday which made the trip. - Nice pool areas - Hard working and helpful staff everywhere from reception, dining areas and cleaners - The restaurant opened up late the night we arrived especially to accommodate late arrivals. A nice touch and also there is always a little continental early breakfast in reception area before the restaurant opens. -weekly pool foam party (not guaranteed and put on by external company) Cons - Worst all inclusive food I’ve ever had. Reasons are - not enough staff so plates, cutlery, food often run out. Layout of the restaurant by the pool used for breakfast is awful creates queues where not needed. Staff are run so ragged we often cleaned and set our table when we found a free one which is fine but then had to play hunt the plates, glasses, spoons as often empty. The worst soft drinks ever had - don’t be fooled by the juice station it is just coloured water. Other fruit juice had granules at the bottom and did not taste anything like fruit Juice. Very very poor labelling of food which was a big problem as my daughter has a severe allergy and I am vegetarian. This was probably my biggest gripe as it is dangerous. - Pool bar area, poor guy on his own sweating buckets does a great job but often out of free ice cream (conveniently on the days the paid for fridge is stocked full) and optics often not working/no syrup in soft drinks. Cocktails use the same awful juice as in the dining areas. - Worst entertainment I’ve ever experienced. One entertainer who works on her own. Unless you actively try to keep an eye out you wouldn’t notice there is any entertainment on in the day whatsoever and what there is is extremely poor. Evening entertainment was indoors even though there is a nice outdoor stage and was so bad we just ended up avoided it each night. -sunbed fiasco. So the first few days were fine and we could put towels on at 8am but this got earlier and earlier until the last few days when people had put towels out in the dark. No attempt by the hotel to sort this & not enough beds or parasols even though there is room for more. - The gym is awful. No air con, no treadmill, one bike, 2 steppers which are faulty and very old rusty weight. Decided to go running instead as felt safer! Feels like cost cutting everywhere which impacts overall experience. Wouldn’t recommend for all inclusive.
Holiday 2022
This is our second visit to Corralejo . Different hotel this time. Stayed in the Barchelo in 2019. A more plush hotel. Friendlier staff, however there wasn’t much entertainment. Only thing that let it down slightly. So we opted for the De lobos as it said there was family entertainment there. Only reason we changed hotels. The location of the hotel is fantastic. Walking distance for everything. This is why we come back to the same location but try a different hotel. This hotel was great apart from the entertainment. Only 1 person for the animation team? She tried, but was obviously a Childers entertainer and nothing for Adults.my son didn’t fancy the mini disco after the same songs (baby shark) were played There were no shows or performances in the hotel and we ended up going out every night. Lucky it was festival and their was great entertainment, street dancers etc in the town. At the pool. They played the same compilation of music everyday. Then change it maybe after 1 week ?? Should mix up the music a little so something for all ages ?? The holiday was brilliant as we just made the most of it. don’t get me wrong. But really disappointed at the lack of entertainment for my 9 year old along with nothing for the adults. It was a bit of a joke. The hotel staff were not so friendly. Specially in the restaurant for evening meal. Couple of sour faces. Quite abrupt too. End of the day. You make the holiday what you want. But changing hotel specifically for the entertainment and getting nothing was very disappointing. Queuing at the bar at night (that we tried twice) was horrendous. One member of staff to cater for all. They got this wrong a couple of times. I will b returning to Corralejo with my extended family next year. But will have to decide on a better hotel. Perhaps go back to the Barchelo. All in all the holiday was good though.
