Our experience

The hotel is definitely not 4 star. We have been to many 3 star hotels as good or better. My main gripe would be the food. Food needs to be hot. This was mainly luke warm. Plates were always cold. Luke warm food on cold plates is no good. There was a tiny microwave which we had to use. The hotel is somewhat jaded and we walked down endless passages to our room. We were on the third floor. The dining room is on the first floor. The lift internally only goes to the second floor and then it’s either walk down around 20 steep stairs with not great lighting or use another little lift to get down. There was a lift a long way off goes down there but you need to walk outside and round to the dining room and in the evening it’s windy and cold. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone who is not very fit. Pleasant stay

Very clean inside and outside. Clean rooms…higher floor has more sunshine on the balcony…lower rooms shaded. Food average..much the same every day! Nice walk along the sea front into a small shopping area. Get a room with a sea view…worth it! Overall a nice place to stay

The staff make this hotel 5 star!

The staff, Wow where to begin! Fabio in Reception was amazing as I contacted him prior to travel to ask for room had stayed in beforehand and he went above and beyond even phoning me to advise he would do his best. Upon arrival he had arranged this for us and as my daughter and her family were also staying had kindly upgraded their room too. There was also a lovely bottle of Cava, fruit and sweets in the room which was very welcoming for us all! The animation team Victor, Stephano and Luna especially, they work so hard, are very welcoming and entertaining and made us all feel very special as a family and the kids loved them too! Kinga, Pedro, Harry and Ari from the bar and restaurant were amazing too, nothing was too much for them. I have to say it's the staff that really do make the hotel a great place to stay! Food - Having stayed at the hotel on a number of occasions, we found that the food wasn't quite as good as previous occasions in terms of choice and quite often was quite cold. Facilities- We enjoyed relaxing around the pool area and the grounds were kept very clean, the one suggestion I would give is that the sun loungers could do with a deep clean as I to clean them with anti bac wipes each day before use. Overall though, loved it and can't wait to return again soon!
