We had very high expectations of this rare family holiday but sadly these expectations were never realised! The hotel seemed to be aimed at families/adults who like
to be intoxicated with alcohol for the majority of the day! Consequently they took no respsonsibility for their children and allowed them to run screaming around the hotel at all hours of the day and night. By night i mean 3am in the morning ...we had to purchase ear-plugs for my 7yr old to be able to sleep!! Grown men and teenagers alike were allowed to get so drunk that they either a;fell into the pool after a drinking contest, onto young children playing in there,b; pass out in the middle of the day and have to be carried by staff to sleep it off on a sun lounger, or c; be too young to cope with alcohol and promptly throw up on the floor next to young families sat trying to enjoy a quiet evening drink! My eldest daughter is only 12yrs old and although she does look older than her young 12yrs by no means does she look anywhere near the legal age limit to obtain alchohol, yet staff at your hotel served her with larger without any question!!! Thankfully, due to your over-booking of this terrible place,we were offered to move to a much quieter,in our eyes, family friendlier hotel;the Paraiso Del Alcudia. This was a lovely, relaxing way to spend the last week of our hard earned holiday, with staff that smile. But under the circumstances you cant blame them for being miserable,7 days in this awful hotel was more than enough for us! We spent £350 more on food and drinks in this other hotel as it wasn't A.I but that was the least of our worries. The Club Mac hotels were a standard joke where we moved to and the only thing that surprises us more is there aren't more complaints on your website!!!!

Book for a week starting 17th September 2011 so all the children would be back to school and we could have a nice relaxing week in the sun. How wrong we were, Ive ne
ver seen as many noisey badly behaved children in my life. Along with their Wayne and Waynetta type Parents.
Meal times in all three dining areas were so noisey you couldn't hold a normal conversation with anybody at your own table without shouting. Considering the amount of people they had to cater for the foods was surprisingly good with plenty of choice.
The entertainment was good but was a bit too loud as it went on until midnight every night which could be heard from you bedroom.
Booked Holiday through Thomas Cook and was unaware that there was a Rep available at Hotel until the day we were going home when we saw her giving a welcome meeting to some new guests.

This was our first holiday abroad with our children 7 and 5, the facilities were great, plenty for the children to do, great family resort, food choice was great, ki
ds loved the ice cream!!
The only thing we would change is we would try to upgrade to a family suite as the room was abit small, but overall the holiday was amazing,
Staff were friendly and left you alone, not pushing you into doing things if you didn't want to.The hotel put on a free bus to the port and to the beach which was useful, the use of the waterpark was fantastic too we would go back in a flash.

I took my 2 kids on holiday for 1 week to Club Mac in Alcudia and we had a fantastic time. The resort was much better than we thought and as long as you got in early
enough for your meal you do not have to queue. The food was gorgeous so even if you do have to queue it is well worth the wait. I cannot fault the resort or anything about it because we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Just had a really great family holiday at Club Mac, the complex consists of 3 hotels and is kept spotlessly clean, all the staff are very efficient and freindly, the
food was excellent there was a different theme every evening i.e. Indian, Mexican, Kids night etc. The free entrance to the waterpark just across the road was a great bonus as the pools in the complex tended to get very busy, just be aware that in the waterpark you have to pay for the sunbeds (4euro's) but there is a 20% reduction on food and drink. The complex has a free bus to take you to the beach during the day and the marina area at night (lots of shops) if you fancy burning off some of the calories a stroll to the beach will take about 30 minutes or 40minutes to the marina area, there is another shopping area about a 20 minute walk away. the evening entertainment was reasonable starting with a game of bingo with a full house prize of 700 euros followed by professional artists, the nights ended with the club dances which my grandaughters really enjoyed

Just got back from mac marte and had a good time. The accommodation and facilties were exactly as advertised. The kids ( 8 & 5) loved the pools and evening entertain
ment. Yes we had to queue for drinks and food and the sunbeds were always taken with towels but we always managed to find some spare. The waterpark next door is excellant and went there a lot through the holiday. We did have to eat out of the complex a couple of times because the thought of eating in the restuarant every evening was not a good one. Thomas Cook kids club my children found a bit boring so only went twice but the Thomas cook rep was excellent.

i went with my wife and our two children 8 and 5 the resort was very large with three hotels and alot of people. The rooms were very basic and the beds were very unc
omfortable. I will say that the rooms were cleaned daily and beds made ext.. plenty to do with the kids but just far two many people for us. meal times was very busy and it there was only two bars so the ques were very long at times. one couple told us they witnessed a fight in one of the hotel but we did not see it. The food was good and the weather was very hot the staff were also very helpful. The free bus is never on time and gets very busy at nights. overall you get what you pay for if you like hundreds of people around then you will love it. entertainment was very good but be you will get eaten alive by the midges. Thomas cook reps at the airport were very unhelpful three times we had to ask which bus was ours. The kids loved it plenty to do for them overall an ok holiday but would not rush back.

We did not enjoy Club Mac.It was too big and too hectic and noisy. The people staying there were not verypleasant. The food was generally ok but the meal time experien
ce was poor due to the large numbers of people. We had a lot of rain and did not feel the hotel catered well for this as there was not enough provision for guests to eat indoors so they had to queue in the rain and wait for tables to be vacated. The complex was dated and in need of a lick of paint.

I have to admit i was very worried before going having read some of the reviews but i worried in vain. We had an excellent holiday at Club Mac. It was our first holi
day abroad with a 3 year old and an 18 month old. The hotel was very clean anywhere we looked there was a member of staff cleaning something. The food was suprisingly good for an all inclusive, there was an excellent choice with different themes every evening and the tastes of small children were catered for well. The complex itself was very large with 9 different pools all catering for different age groups, there were lots and lots for everyone of all ages to do. The entertainment was ok but the main stage at the circus tent was very busy and we never got to see a show there due to this but there was also entertainment on the Saturno stage which whilst not excellent was watchable.
The only negatives were the room sizes which were really small, i couldn't fit a single sized buggy in without having to fold it up first. The lifts were ridiculous, we regularly had to wait 20 minutes plus to find a free one available. The resort is very busy and mealtimes would sometimes feel like a circus.
Overall this we all enjoyed this holiday with the positives far outweighing the negatives and would definately recommend to families.

And it was a great thing for there to be a sun adviser in the hotel which we thought the products were great & will be purchasing in future. The choice of food was great. I would recommend this hotel and is amazing for kids. Only downside is the lifts for such a large hotel if you have prams it can be a wait but if you are low down the stairs are a option. this resort was awesome, you couldnt ask for more in a family holiday!
the food, accomodation, entertainment, everything was first rate.
we travelled with a 5 year o
ld and this was a brilliant place for him.
the resort is based around 3 hotels which you can use as part of the 'club mac' package.
with 9 pools to choose from and free unlimited entry into the waterpark (this is only available with thomas cook bookings) which is less than a minute walk away you will not be bored during the day, the only negative i can give is that there are not enough shaded areas around the pools to provide shade at the hottest parts of the day.
if you are looking for a butlins type resort in the sun look no further, this resort is aimed at families and i would say its not the kind of place you would go if you dont like kids or fun!
the restaurants in each of the 3 hotels on the resort you can use and these are themed each day with cusine from a different country, but with traditional all inclusive buffet food for those who dont like the different tastes and a special kids buffet each meal time with classic kids food like nuggets and chips or pizza etc so no one goes hungry!
we have been to 4&5 star all inclusive resorts in the past and have not rated them so highly.
you canno be bored in this place, its for kids and they will all love it!

WE had terrible weather for the 7 days we were at Club Mac Marte which was really geared for hot, dry weather. The complex is great for families with 9 different poo
ls which were freezing due to lack of sun to heat them.We stayed in the Mac Marte hotel (the smaller of the three on the site) which was fine apart from there only being 2 lifts for 6 floors and aprox 20 rooms per floor!! We ended up walking up and down 6 floors several times every day! Ok if you are fit, but a nightmare with a pushchair. The food was great, a huge choice so something for everyone. Queues for drinks and for meals a bit of a pain. Evening entertainment was really good though and a free bus service to the beach was great too. Restaurant staff were helpful but reception a bit abrupt. Entertainment staff were great fun with adults and children. The complex did seem to be full of large family/friend groups from north of Manchester!! But having said that we had a good time apart from the weather!

We arrived to glorious weather and soon got by the main pool. Plenty of sunbeds avialable and shade around the pool. The hotel which was the smallest of the 3 was ok
, tho' needs more lifts as being on the 5th floor we neded to use it but the 2 that were there were very slow and always packed.
The rain came in on the Monday and stayed all week. Not much to do inside the hotel, tudia old thank god we had lego and a pack of cards. The attached water park was good fun when the rain stopped. The boys really enjoyed the gokarting track in the Bellevue complex and the walk into Alcudia Old Town was easy enough and the market was endless. The flight home was a nightmare, no coach turned up for us really unhelpful rep on the manchester coach that did arrive. Check in clerks who spent more time chatting than checking people in. Thankfully our plane was delayed as by the time we got checked in we should have been on the plane. The flight attendants on the flight home were so slow we hadn't even been served our meal when we were told to prepare for landing!! Would go to Majorca again but not to Alcudia.

Having read a few reviews on this resort i was 50/50 about my expectations. All i will say is that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Club Mac Resort! We went wit
h friends and have children aged 3, 9 &10 and they loved it. There is plenty to do for adults and children who want to enjoy their holiday.
The resort was very clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly especially the bar staff in the Circus Stage! We have stayed in All inclusive resorts quite a few times and at times have found the food very repetitive and bland but the food here was to a very high standard and was very varied. You could tell a lot of effort had gone into the preparation etc.
We went the last week in Sept and first week in Oct and the weather was great. We had passes to the near by water park which was great and saved us a lot of money!
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would definately return to the Club Mac Marte. I would highly recommend this resort!

There r plenty of trips to go on beach is a must u get a free bus ride there but we walked it. the water park was great we went every day. and you get a free bus into the port in the evernings. its only 6 euros to go to the old part of alacudia by taxie rather than get on the bus. you have to pay 18 euros for a safety deposit box.
we will go back with my other granchildren as was clean and safe. but if you have older teenagers they may be a little bored not much for them to do.

There was entertainment on every night in at least 2 places around the complex. And loads to do through the day to keep the kids amused. The pools were exceptionally clean and so was the area around the hotels. Every evening at midnight when the entertainment had finshed, there was staff going around emptying all the bins and hosing down all the pathways and public areas.

Club Mac is a big (1,024 room) complex. Marte is the smallest of the 3 hotels ("only" 282 rooms), but is probably the best to be in, as it's the one with the recepti
on and those all-important 24 hour drink facilities (hot drinks and soft drinks only after midnight).
The complex is kept very tidy (in spite of the best efforts of the customers) and everything seemed to be in a good state of repair. The room wasn't very big, but I didn't intend to spend much time in it (and spent even less to be honest).
The restaurants can get very busy, especially at breakfast time. There's is a bit of a school canteen feel, but it's not unpleasant. The food was always good, with lots of choice.
The pools are very good, but can get busy at peak times. Sunbed reservation is rife and, as the staff don't seem to mind, I would recommend doing it yourself.
The animation team was very good. There's lots to do during the day for kids of all ages (even grown-up ones), and the evening shows were excellent. The bar closed at midnight, which is a little early for me, but the staff didn't seem to mind us staying in the entertainment area, chatting and letting the kids play, deep into the night.
The hotel provides free transfers to the beach throughout the day - use them; the beach really is brilliant. During the evening, a free bus is provided into Alcudia town. We used it once, but the town seemed a little quiet.
The hotel was less rowdy than we'd been led to believe but that may be because we were usually the last people to bed. There certainly weren't the hoards of lunchtime drunks we had feared (although there were one or two).
We also had access to the water park. This is a good park (for free) but not brilliant if you have to pay. The sunbeds are much more comfortable than the hotel's, but are not free. You can't take food in, but why would you want to when you can wander back to the hotel, grab something and then wander back?
All in all, we had a great time, made good friends and are fully intending to go back again in 2011.

After booking this holiday I read a lot of reviews for this hotel and they seems to be either very postive or very negative with no inbetween. Th is made me slightly
dubious about the holiday. Thanklfully I had a great time and so did the family. I had 2 boys aged 6 and 9 who do not like being sent to "kids clubs" for a few hours so it was great that they could pick and choose activities througout the day that they wanted to participate in. The food was good and there was a lot of choice. If people could not find something they like then they must be a very picky eater. Each day was themed eg spanish food, tex mex, fish, italian etc
The hotel was very clean and was always being cleaned and mopped. Antibacterial dipensers were at the entrance of all the restuarants.
The only down side was the fat that the hotel only had 2 small lifts. As we were on the 3rd floor we usually just used the stairs but I wouldnt want to walk much higher.
People did get up and reserve sun loungers early in the morning. We went to the poolside at around 9:30 - 10.00 and always managed to find spares ones.
The price was great and I would recommend to any family.
We had unlimited access to the waterpark which was worth 18 euro per adult and 10 for children. This was great but we really didnt need to use it. The pools were great in the hotel

Club Mac is a very good place to go to with children.
We stayed in Marte and requested a quiet room which was very good as we didnt hear any noise in the night. Lift
s were a bit unreliable so prepare to use the stairs!!
Good pool areas with plenty of loungers spare. Bars were good and quick service was guaranteed!
The only thing that let the resort down was the entertainment at night time!! Big gaps between each activity which left the kids quite restless! The actual entertainment team themselves were very good and worked extra hard!
Overall this was a brill holiday with good food, nice surroundings, plenty of things to do and best of all a free, regular bus to the beach (daytime) and the port (night time).

The club Mac complex in made up of three hotels Jupiter, Saturno and Marte. Marte is the smallest of the three and has 2 lifts to cater for the whole hotel, which ca

Food is nice and plenty for kids to do and eat. My son is 10 years old and he met lots of friends and really enjoyed himself. The entertainment staff were great and l would recommend this hotel to families. Only downside l would say is the mosiqtoes, because there is a lake in the hotel grounds it did attract them so make sure you take your sprays with you. Your going to need them!!! Staying in the Club Mac Marte also ment we could use the hidropark next door for free - again very enjoyable. Minor gripes - queueing for drinks at bars and not enough space/sunbeds by pools.
Recommended free entertainment - watching the late night snack 'free for all' (if you can stand being embarressed by your fellow countrymen).
