What's the weather like in Hawaii in June?
Located in the Pacific Ocean, the American islands of Hawaii are beautifully warm and sunny all year round, making them a popular holiday destination no matter which month you plan on visiting. In June, temperatures on the islands are hot but not unbearable, perfect for relaxing on the stunning beaches or swimming and surfing in the warm seas. Although some wet weather’s expected, rain showers are usually very short-lived.
Averages
In June the average temperature in Hawaii is 26°C, reaching a peak of 28°C in the afternoons. With such high temperatures you’ll need to be careful in the sun, seeking shade in the hottest part of the day and applying lots of sun cream. Around 45mm of rain is expected in Hawaii this month, but showers are usually short and sharp, with most wet weather concentrated on the mountainous parts of the islands. In the evenings temperatures dip only slightly to 23°C, so you’ll be grateful for air conditioning.
