What's the weather like in Hawaii in April?
Located in the Pacific Ocean, the beautiful islands of Hawaii have a tropical climate, bringing hot, sunny weather to the region all year round. April marks the beginning of the dry season in Hawaii, but there’s still some wet weather, especially on higher ground. At this time of year temperatures are warm but not too hot, so April is a good month to visit if you want to avoid the intense summertime heat.

The average temperature in Hawaii in April is a warm 24°C, ideal for relaxing on the beach or exploring the local sights. There are highs of 26°C in the afternoons, so you’ll need to apply sun cream regularly especially if you’re directly in sunshine. After dark, temperatures dip to a low of 21°C, so although it’s still warm, you may need a light cardigan for evenings out. Around 50mm of rain is expected during the month, while the sea’s a warm 25°C and perfect for swimming and surfing.
