The temperature in April averages 16°C, with highs of 21°C in the peak of the afternoon. While the latter half of the day can be pleasantly warm, after dark temperatures drop to around 10°C, so you’ll need to wrap up warm if you go out in the evening. With an expected 25mm of rain in April, Los Angeles is quite dry at this time of year with just the odd shower from time to time. The sea is still cool with an average temperature of 15°C, so April isn’t a great time to swim in the Pacific waters.
