What's the weather like in Marmaris in May?

Marmaris has typical Mediterranean weather as it’s on Turkey’s Turquoise Coast. The resort town has long and hot summers, and you'll find temperatures are really picking up in May as the peak months get closer. You'll have lots of sun and not much rain if you're going at this time. Marmaris is in a sheltered bay surrounded by mountains, which will protect you from northern and Mediterranean winds. If you prefer cooler temperatures and fewer crowds compared to summer, this is a fantastic time for you to visit.
