    Benidorm weather December

What's the weather like in Benidorm in December?

Benidorm’s in the southeast of Spain, on the country’s Mediterranean coast. This means that although it’s winter, you'll still get warm weather and sunny days in December. Temperatures are quite a bit cooler than over summer, so it’s a great time to visit if you like less heat and less crowds.

    Geographical influences

The mountains that surround Benidorm make its lovely Mediterranean weather even better, bringing warmer temperatures and clearer skies. The Serra Gelada Mountains to the east protect the city from winds that come across the sea, and also give you the chance to explore.

The average high’s still a pleasant 16ºC in December, although things do get a bit chilly at night, cooling to 7ºC at night. Make sure you pack some warmer clothes for the evenings. The sea temperature’s 16ºC, while humidity’s low. Average rainfall’s 45mm over nine rainy days. You can expect five hours of sunshine from the ten hours of daylight each day. UV levels will be low. The sun goes down around 5.45pm.
