    Menorca weather March

What's the weather like in Menorca in March?

Located in the Mediterranean Sea, the Balearic Island of Menorca has long, hot summers and short, cool winters. In March the island’s starting to warm up as springtime arrives, with warmer temperatures and plenty of sunshine. Although it’s not beach weather at this time of year, March is a good month for exploring the island and discovering the local sights.

In March the average temperature in Menorca is a cool 12°C, with highs of 15°C in the peak of the afternoon. After dark, temperatures dip to a low of 9°C, so you’ll need plenty of layers to stay warm during the day and into the evenings. Although it’s quite cool at this time of year, one third of the days in March are sunny, while just 45mm of rain is expected over the course of the month. If you want to take a dip in the sea, you’ll need to be brave as the Mediterranean waters are a chilly 15°C.
