What’s the weather like in Santa Ponsa in June?
Santa Ponsa is a small town and beach resort on the south-west coast of Majorca, not far from Magaluf. Great for a week or two of relaxation in the sun, it has a Mediterranean climate bringing hot, dry summers and cool, damp winters to the region. It’s the start of summer in June and temperatures are getting close to their peak at this time. This is a great month to visit if you want to avoid the busier crowds in July, while still getting warm, sunny weather.
Santa Ponsa has an average temperature of 22ºC in June, with highs of 27ºC in the peak of the afternoon. Although it’s not sweltering heat, you might want to protect yourself and your little ones with plenty of high factor sun cream if you’re visiting this month. Things stay quite pleasant once the sun sets, with temperatures dropping to an average low of 16ºC at night. Less than 15mm of rain’s expected this month, while the Mediterranean Sea’s a lovely 22ºC, ideal for swimming and snorkelling.
