What’s the weather like in Es Cana in September?
Located on the northeast coast of Ibiza, Es Cana is a small village and beach resort not far from Santa Eularia. As part of the Balearic Islands, it has a Mediterranean climate bringing hot summers and mild winters to the region. September’s one of the warmest months of the year, but temperatures aren’t too hot, and conditions cool down as the month goes on. This is a great time to visit Es Cana if you want to avoid the bigger crowds of the high season, and still enjoy the lovely weather.
The average temperature in Es Cana is 23ºC in September, rising to a high of 26ºC in the height of the afternoon. With seven hours of sunshine at a strong UV level, you’ll need plenty of sun cream for your holiday. After dark, the average low dips to 19ºC, perfect for an al fresco meal or a night out at some of the local bars and nightclubs. Around 40mm of rain’s expected across four days, so the chances of a shower are slim in September. If you want to go for a swim or snorkel, the Balearic Sea’s a warm 24ºC.
