What’s the weather like in Dubai in September?
Dubai has soaring temperatures all year round thanks to its location on the Persian Gulf coast. September’s one of the hottest months, although things are slightly cooler than the peak of August. If you don’t like the heat then this is a great time to visit Dubai.
Dubai has a hot desert climate thanks to its position in the Arabian Desert close to the Tropic of Cancer. This means the weather’s hot and sunny all year round. Most of Dubai’s sandy desert, and there’s a great risk of sunstroke in September so you should drink plenty of water, avoid the midday sun and use lots of sun cream.
The average high’s a really hot 38ºC in September, and things stay warm once the sun goes down. This is at 6.40pm at the start of the month, so you won’t need any warm clothes for the evenings. The sea’s also very warm at 33ºC, while humidity’s extremely high. There’s not usually any rain in September, so you can enjoy ten long and dry hours of sunshine from the 12 hours of daylight each day, but be careful in the sun and use sun cream as UV levels are extreme.
