What’s the weather like in Larnaca in April?
Located on the southeast coast of Cyprus, Larnaca is a popular historic town with a Mediterranean climate, bringing hot summers and cool winters to the region. In April, signs of summer are beginning to show as temperatures warm up. The sea gets slightly more inviting and the weather becomes much drier. With lots of sunshine this month, June is perfect if you want to enjoy warm temperatures while avoiding the high season crowds and intense summertime heat.
The average temperature in Larnaca at this time of year is a mild 18°C, with highs of 23°C in the peak of the afternoon. Just 10mm of rain is expected in April, spread across seven days, so any wet weather’s usually light and very short-lived. If you want to go swimming the sea’s slightly warmer than the winter months, but at a brisk 11°C you’ll still need to be brave to take a dip at this time of year.
