Intro

What’s the weather like in the Caribbean in August?

Located near the equator, the Caribbean has a tropical climate with warm, sunny weather all year round. Although it can be wet at this time of year, showers are usually short and sharp so the rain won’t ruin your holiday. For the highest daytime temperatures visit the more northerly islands, while the southern islands are warmer after dark.

Further north in Cuba, temperatures are a little hotter in the daytime with highs of 32°C, and cooler at night as temperatures dip to an average low of 22°C.
