What’s the weather like in Banff in April?
The Banff weather in April can be quite mild and sees a sharp rise in temperature from the cold of winter and early spring. The sunshine level is very pleasant too, making it a great time to visit this snow and ski resort in Canada’s amazing Banff National Park in the Rockies.
Geographical influences
Even though the climate warms up here in the province of Alberta in April, there’s still snowfall this month in Banff. The surrounding hills of Mount Rundle, Sulphur Mountain, Mount Norquay and Cascade Mountain help to create cool air and stop temperatures rising too high.
