“Een heerlijk resort, de kamer helaas niet..”

Let me start by saying that we had an amazing week at PineBay! The resort is beautifully designed, the swimming pools are lovely, the private beach is fantastic, and the water slides are great. You can enjoy food and drinks throughout the entire day. The buffets offer a really wide variety of high-quality food, the pastries are delicious, and there really is something tasty for everyone! The coffee in the two cafés is also really good. There are plenty of activities to enjoy: you can play table tennis, take part in all kinds of games by the pool, play football in a large inflatable sports hall, play tennis, dance at the fun mini disco, go to the kids’ cinema, and much more. All of this is definitely worthy of a 5-star resort! The beach club is a real bonus, with delicious food such as dürüm döner. One thing we did find disappointing was that beer, both here and at the pool and amphitheatre, is served in paper cups. From both a sustainability and taste perspective, it would be much better to invest in reusable hard plastic cups that can be washed. This would create less waste, and cocktails, mixed drinks and beer simply taste much better from a proper reusable cup than from a paper one. There were, however, a few things that were disappointing or simply not good enough. Our room had quite a few issues. When we checked in, the floor in the children’s room was extremely dirty. Only after reporting it to reception for the third time did a cleaner come to clean it, and even then it was only cleaned superficially rather than thoroughly. The curtain in the children’s room was partly hanging off, the seat cushions were dirty and covered in white stains, and the shower drain did not drain properly. There was also not always hot water available for showering. Some of the lights did not work, although fortunately these were repaired quickly. What was definitely not up to 5-star standards was the housekeeping. When we checked in, there were two small piles of sand in the entrance area, one on either side of the door. Amazingly, that same sand was still there when we checked out a week later. The beds were made, but the bed linen was not changed once during the entire week. We were also barely provided with any toilet paper, and clean towels were simply left in the entrance area on the corner of the sofa instead of being placed neatly in the bathroom, for example. Another disappointment was that the swimming pools were so incredibly cold that it simply wasn’t pleasant to get into the water. These were definitely some significant downsides to our stay. Having said that, the beds themselves were extremely comfortable and we slept very well, which was great! What we appreciated most of all were the shows in the amphitheatre. They were of an incredibly high standard and absolutely spectacular. WOW! Conclusion: Many aspects of this resort were definitely worthy of 5 stars, while unfortunately some others were absolutely not. BUT despite these issues, we really enjoyed our week at this resort and had a fantastic holiday!

“Best Hotel In Kusadasi!!!!! Do not book Palm Wings Ephesus !!! BOOK HERE!!!!”

A local hotel called Palm Wings Ephesus was diabolical we put up with such a poor service from them we gave up with them on the eighth day and decided to come to this hotel. When I say it is one of the best hotels in Kusadasi I mean it this hotel is amazing from the moment we checked in we noticed a difference... I have no idea why british tour company's do not use this hotel! JET 2, EASYJET AND TUI get your act together and sign this amazing hotel up! If only there was a way we could attend this hotel as part of a package holiday we would ! The food is absolutely amazing ! The wait staff are absolutely outstanding and the rooms are something out of the movies ! Thank you so much for saving our family!

“Beautiful but not perfect xxx”

OK, so for context, my family may consider me high maintenance, I consider them easy going. Also for context, I have enjoyed a few bespoked cocktails this evening at the sunset bar! This resort definitely has more going for it than negatives. We are on the 3rd day of a 10 day stay. It is truly beautiful. The place and the people are lovely. The bay is truly gorgeous. The sea is perfectly clear and still warm towards the end of October. I love that we've seen a huge variety of fish, octopus and sea urchins in the bay. The kayaks are included which we've all had fun on too. We are a family of 4 in the cheapest accommodation which for us is a ground floor apartment, 2 bedrooms amongst the pines. Not for those with mobility restrictions but we've enjoyed the hikes up hill after indulging in all inclusive! The cocktails are made of decent branded spirits. I've really enjoyed them. Bar tenders enjoy creating cocktails from your preferences. The wine is also good. Compared to most all inclusives in Turkey the quality of alcohol is very good. The quality of food varies but there is enough choice for everyone and enough to find something you enjoy. I like fresh meat and salads and there's plenty of that. My family's enjoyed the burgers, chips etc... The season is winding down, so not all advertised activities are happening. I wish they'd cross off activities from peak season to avoid disappointment. Other positives include- no all inclusive wristbands, no cards for towels. Lots of sunbed availability, absolutely beautiful setting, like I said. Waterslides are lots of fun. Short queues this time of year too. Very friendly staff. Negatives. The rooms are dated and beds uncomfortable. I don't think my family are as fussy with their mattresses as me. They all sleep well. I have invested in a decent mattress at home (again I'm providing context as this may not matter as much to others as to me) and I need a decent mattress to sleep well. The mattress we have here is as hard as stone. I've complained about it each morning since we've been here. The next day we were given extra blankets so we could use the duvet as a mattress topper. Didn't cut it. They said they'd change the mattress. I don't think it's any different. - but I've yet to try it for a night. We'll see! We have 2 bathrooms, one on each bedroom which was a pleasant surprise. However the kids have been unable to use theirs as it stinks. Neither bathroom has a working fan nor window so there's no ventilation. Their bathroom is small and very damp and musty. Technicians have been out 3 times but still neither work. Air con blows out hot air. With that and the rock hard mattress I've been up since 3am today. When I enquired about the air-conditioning they said it's one system for the whole resort so guess we were all stuffy last night! If management from Pine Bay are reading this whilst we're still here and are able to resolve our issues that would be appreciated but this is an honest (albeit subjective) review. (We're in 821 for another 8 nights and they reserved it in my teen stepdaughter's name for some reason even though ny credit card paid for it! 🤷‍♀️) This room does have a lovely sea view though which we didn't have to pay any extra for. If quality of alcohol, short queues and stunning location matter to you, you'll love it here. If quality of sleep, decent air-conditioning and fresh bathrooms matter, perhaps don't opt for the pine bungalows! Xxx

“HONEST review - sept 2026”

Just got back from a week at Pine Bay. There was a group of 14 of us, made up of 7 adults, one being 19 and the rest kids, 9-16 years. As soon as we arrived, staff were friendly and helpful no messing about at reception, passports checked and then taken to the room Via buggy with luggage. It is up hill, but I think the staff would absolutely help if you asked them if folk struggle. We saw it as a positive when you’ve been eating and drinking all day! Room - was clean and well maintained. Not huge but it’s just somewhere to sleep and chill before you head out. Absolutely fine, no problems. Location - stunning. The beach is gorgeous, warm sea and plenty of sun beds. Folk do put their towels down before hand, which I guess could be an issue in the summer but as we were coming out of season, it never caused a problem. The beach bar was great, everything you need down there, water/bar supplied and the food was great. Toilets were clean, but obviously there are used by people who are wet so expect abit of water and sand - again no big deal. Waterpark was also good and the kids loved that - as well as the adults. Hotel food - food was good. Plenty of variety, we always found something to eat in the main restaurant - the kids enjoyed breakfast, plenty of choice - no bacon/sausage but that is to be expected in Türkiye. Snack bars were great, burgers, jacket potatoes, waffles and ice creams available up near the water park. Staff - now some people on reviews said they are rude, I didn’t find that once whilst there. All staff do is look after you, I think some staff struggle with the English language but don’t misinterpret this as being rude. We went in to kusadasi for a bit of light shopping, spent a fortune after bartering with the shop keepers - tip: if you do not like being pestered then just don’t go in, because this is what they do. They are trying to make a living, I found the best way not to be rude, just say no thank you and walk away. It worked every time for us. I was very sceptical of going Türkiye but now I’m glad I have, we all enjoyed it and the weather was beautiful. Just get it booked and see for yourself!

“Another wonderful stay at Pine Bay Kusadasi – our home away from home! ❤️”

We have just returned from another amazing 11-day holiday at Pine Bay Kusadasi, and once again, we leave with nothing but wonderful memories. This was already our 4th stay at Pine Bay in just two years, and every time we come back, it feels more and more like coming home. One of the things we appreciate most is the incredible staff. Everyone is so friendly, welcoming and genuinely caring. It is such a lovely feeling to be recognized and remembered when you return. You are not just another guest here – you really feel valued. This time, we were especially surprised and grateful to receive a complimentary upgrade to a larger and even more beautiful room because we have now reached VIP status. What a wonderful gesture and such a lovely way to make us feel appreciated! ❤️ Whenever there is a little problem or something we need help with, the staff are always ready to assist and solve it immediately. Nothing seems to be too much trouble, and that makes such a difference when you are on holiday. For us, Pine Bay is no longer simply a place where we stay. It has become a place where we feel comfortable, relaxed and truly at home. The combination of the beautiful surroundings, the atmosphere and, above all, the wonderful people makes us want to keep coming back.
