“Lovely hotel in a great location”

We really enjoyed our 10-night stay at this hotel. I wouldn't personally class it as a 4-star hotel, but for what we paid, we thought it was very good value and we had a lovely holiday. We stayed half board with breakfast, which was perfectly fine. Our room had a beautiful sea view and was lovely and quiet in the evenings. The location is excellent, very close to Ladies Beach, with plenty of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. The hotel was very clean and our room was cleaned every day. All the staff were lovely and helpful. There was a bit of a language barrier as some of the staff didn't speak much English, but this wasn't a problem at all. In fact, we enjoyed learning a little Turkish while we were there, even if it was only enough to say hello and good evening! Check-in and check-out were both quick and straightforward. We also really liked the pool area. It was never too busy and there were always plenty of sun loungers available. The pool snack bar was good too, with friendly and helpful staff. The only small improvement I would suggest would be having a few English TV channels in the rooms. That said, it really didn't bother us as we weren't in the room enough to watch much TV anyway! Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay and would happily return.

“Great location but mediocre hotel”

Let’s start with the positives: the hotel is in a great location, close to Ladies’ Beach which is a beautiful sandy beach, great for swimming, and with a palm tree- lined promenade. There are plenty of great bars and restaurants along the promenade and several supermarkets as well. The hotel entrance is impressive and the swimming pool is large with plenty of sun loungers. I stayed half board and thought the food was very good and the dining room staff very friendly and helpful. My hotel room was clean on arrival, with a nice balcony looking onto an olive grove. However, there is a great carelessness about this hotel (see attached photo of fitted carpet that doesn’t quite fit). All the bedrooms run off a central atrium which looks down to the front reception desk, this means that the noise is loud and constant at all times in the bedrooms. This problem could be easily resolved by fitting doors to the bedroom corridors. The bedroom walls are thin and I could hear my next door neighbours at all times, in particular from the bathrooms where I could hear everything (yes, everything!) The front reception staff are aware of these noise problems but shrugged their shoulders when I tried to talk about the noise problems. I do not recommend this hotel

“Disappointed”

Overall impression — disappointing. It seems that this hotel is not really a 4-star hotel. There are three signs with the hotel’s name on the building, but at night only two out of the four stars are illuminated on all three signs. The service is disappointing. There is no 15/5 rule here. During my five-day stay, not a single member of staff said hello to me. I had the feeling that the staff were avoiding contact. They were busy doing their own things and simply did not notice you. Some staff members were dressed untidily and wore the same dirty clothes day after day. The food is disappointing. The food is not tasty, and the fruit is old. I got food poisoning from a grapefruit — it was rotten. The selection is very limited. You would be better off going to the bakery down the street than having breakfast at this hotel. Tea and coffee are unlimited, but only during breakfast. Nobody will give you free water outside breakfast hours. A bottle of water costs four times more than it does at the shop across the street. The elevator broke down and took two days to repair. When I was checking out, I was asked to pay for a bottle of water even though I had not taken a single bottle from the minibar. I felt that they were trying to charge me for something I had not used. I did not ask for the water and I did not drink it. So why should I pay for it? The swimming pool is clean and well maintained, and the hotel grounds are always kept clean. This is one of the positive aspects. There are no evening entertainment programs. After dinner, you will be lulled to sleep by classical instrumental music. The rooms are cleaned every day, which is good. However, the TV and the kettle were connected to the same power outlet, so I had to keep switching between them — very inconvenient. In my room, there was always a flood on the bathroom floor after taking a shower because the shower curtain was not watertight. The condition of the rooms is only satisfactory. There were unsafe electrical sockets and a broken light fixture above my bed. The air-conditioning filters clearly had not been changed for a very long time. There was a musty smell coming from the air conditioner, along with what smelled like accumulated cigarette smoke. The disposable slippers look extremely flimsy, so bring your own. The staff’s English is adequate — you will be understood. English was not widely spoken in the surrounding area, so communication outside the hotel could sometimes be difficult The hotel does not have its own beach. You can go to the public city beach about 100 metres away, but be careful — it is very dirty, with lots of cigarette butts, broken bottles, bottle caps and condoms. There are also stray dogs wandering around. There is only a paid public toilet. Sun loungers and umbrellas are also available for a fee from local vendors. This hotel is not suitable for a week-long stay. It feels more like a hotel for a weekend or a one- or two-night stay. There is a constant turnover of guests and a lot of noise at the hotel entrance from buses and tour groups. Personally, I did not feel particularly welcome during my stay

“Disappointed”

The room was ok but the bed clothes were very scratchy. Really needed to have a sheet as well as the bed cover. We had evening meal included. Unfortunately I ended up with an upset stomach. Bar prices are extortionate …you are better off buying drinks before going to the hotel or go to a supermarket instead. You are not far from bars and restaurants .,

“Busy resort hotel”

This was a busy resort hotel. We were issued with wristbands which I didn’t especially like. Fridge took several hours to reach cool level, an issue as we were travelling with diabetic medication which needed to be kept cool. Internet frankly poor - if you could access it. Large number of guests on first night meant buffet supper and breakfast following morning akin to bun fight. One coffee machine not working, orange juice was not available either day (water - the concentrate clearly not added).
