The charm of Hotel La Cala resides in its location and customer service. Not many hotels are located right at the beachfront! We are just a few yards from the sand of the beach, from where you can smell and listen to the sound of the sea. Hotel La Cala is a family-run business in which we take care of every single detail and adapt to modern needs: living room with terrace, free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and allowing pets in the hotel, all of which with a personalised service for each client so they can feel at home and assistance with any request they may have during their stay. We also have holiday apartments available in the building next door, Atalaya Apartments, located just behind the beachfront. “Gem of a Hotel”

We have just returned from a brilliant week at La Cala. The situation is great for a relaxing holiday or easy access by regular bus to the delights that Benidorm has to offer. The hotel was spotless and staff all very friendly. Miguel was very helpful on reception and helped us with our cases on arrival and departure using the steps. The breakfast was a bit quirky but delicious nevertheless. The added bonus was access to the Strat restaurant with its incomparible view and exceptional food. We used the rooftop on occasion which was very relaxing. All together a great stay with arrangements by Jet2 spot on. We will be back!

“Lovely stay in a really nice hotel”

We have just returned from a 16 night stay in this hotel. We booked it after taking advice from friends and reading previous reviews of the hotel and we were not disappointed at our decision. La Cala hotel is perfectly situated right on the fantasic beach in the lovely bay of Cala Finestrat, just a few miles away from the lively hustle and bustle of modern Benidorm giving you many options of things to do and see. Cala Finestrat also provides a good selection of restaurants locally and an excellent local bus service giving access to many locations and to the far reaching Tram service. Our room in the hotel (No 102) was close to reception and had side and front views of the beach and the sea which we had requested. The room had good facilities, with a walk in shower, air conditioning, a safety deposit box (local charges apply) and a small refrigerator that adequately cooled drinks in our room. The room was very comfortable and had wardrobe and storage space, as well as a good sized balcony with table and chairs and it was great that we could sit and watch the world go by. We were a little disappointed by breakfast where daily there are 3 options available, healthy, full english and continental that are plated up for you, although you can change your choice on a daily basis using Whatsapp if you wish. I think we have always been used to a buffet style menu where you help yourself, although there were cereals, toast and tea, coffees and juice all readily available too. It is also fair to say that during our stay we never went hungry at breakfast and our comments are just based on personal choice. We never used the restaurant in the hotel, as during our stay it was only open at lunch times. We had hoped to book it for an Anniversary meal but as we prefer to eat in the evening rather than during the day, we were not able to do that, however speaking to other guests who had eaten there we had been told that the food was superb. There is a really nice terrace on the roof with tables, chairs, a few sunbeds and good views, we didn't use it during our stay but it provides a nice private area for people to use if they wanted to. The hotel also has a good system that allows you to rent out chairs and parasols for the beach at a very competitive price, well worth doing. The staff in the hotel are all so really friendly and so helpful, particularly the reception staff, mainly Alessia, Miguel and Carla who are such lovely people and who provided us with so much local knowledge allowing us to get around to see so many great locations. Thank you all. We have already rebooked for October 2027 and look forward to seeing you next year

“Little Gem”

What a little gem! Set in the beautiful little cove of Cala Finestrat, this hotel boasts beautiful sea views (well worth the extra for a sea view room) and the beach is just steps away. We stayed for 7 nights and, bar a little mix up on arrival, enjoyed every minute. The front of house staff were welcoming and knowledgeable (big thank you to Miguel especially) and so kind. Rooms are modern and spotless and the housekeeping staff worked hard keeping it that way. Unusually, you choose your breakfast on arrival, there are 3 options: Full English, Continental and Healthy but if you decide you want to change for a different option the next morning you just tell them. Alongside your chosen breakfast, there are cereals, bread, jams etc to have. Seemed a little strange at first but when you think about it, your breakfast is being made freshly for you and there is no waste so, great idea I think. the hotel is set in a lovely small bay area with some great restaurants. It attracts quite a diverse crowd and I think the bars and restaurants reflect this so there is something for every one. Local buses and trams make it easy to visit outside of the area but quite honestly, the area is so pretty and the hotel so perfect, we just enjoyed sitting on the balcony and listening to the waves crashing. Thank you to everyone at Hotel La Cala for making our stay so wonderful. Can't wait to come back and visit again.

“Lovely hotel. Recommend it.”

Beautiful clean modern hotel on the sea front. We changed from an inside room (like a cupboard without a window) to a side view . Staff we so helpful. Food was delicious although pre ordering breakfast the day before wasn't good. Also didn't like the barrier on entry. You dont always know what you fancy to eat tomorrow. Breakfast with a view was amazing. But, location wise its fab. Near to buses, the beach is a step away, restaurants and quiet bars nearby. Would definitely go back again.
