Got to have a seaview

Stayed for 9 nights, two rooms full sea view and a city view for one person. City view room perfect size for one, on the 7th floor only issue big air con / generators noisy at night and if you’re a light sleeper like me not too good. Sea view room, in December got very hot at times. Quality beds and towels, beds comfortable and bathrooms good size with massive walk in showers. From arriving at reception to restaurant staff they were all incredibly helpful and jolly in their work. Only issue was one barman would never serve us, he would make us wait until he had served all the Spanish who weren’t actually hotel guests. Found the drinks to be expensive, over 20 euros for 3 drinks. Soft drinks served in small bottles. New Year’s Eve banquet was a great experience, great range of food and beverages flowed. Didn’t stay for the entertainment as the balcony provided a great view of the fireworks. The food at the hotel was mainly very good, omelettes cooked to order, to meat/fish cooked to order. You could choose if you wanted lunch or dinner which we found very useful. If you’re old, book direct with hotel to get wine and water with every meal. Must just mention cava on offer at breakfast. We didn’t realise there is theatre in the basement which different acts played. We didn’t meet many other Brits in the hotel but that maybe different in season. Would we return, yes it’s nor cheap but you get what you pay for specially with the view.

Lizards on the 13 th floor!

Lizards on the balcony (on the 13 th floor, at the end of november!) so we were scared to open the balcony door at night. So the room got very warm without fresh air, difficult to sleep. Air condition was not working in november, which wouldnt be a problem if we could open balcony door. Food was sort of ok most of the days, but very limited choice of healthy food. Most of the food was full of sugar, salt or fat. On our last day there my husband got sick with big stomach problems (and was only eating hotel food), we informed reception about possible food poisoning so that they could check it out, but receptionist didnt seem to care. Location of the hotel is good, right next to the beach and close to Old Town. The pool area is nice, but the pool itself very small. We had a room with sea view, which was nice. The room itself looked basicly like a 3-star hotel room, nothing special, but ok.

A superb hotel centre beach benidorm. The view from our bedroom was fantastic. The staff were all superb. The hotel was spotless. Room really comfy. The meals were nice. Not overpriced. We will be back
