“Wonderful Experience with Trini, Event Planner”

I had a wonderful experience working with Trini, the event planner, for a post-wedding event on 1 October 2026. As a wedding planner myself, I really appreciated her professionalism, clear communication and helpful guidance throughout the entire process. Everything was well organised, and we received lovely feedback from the bride and groom. It was a pleasure working with her, and I would definitely love to collaborate again on future events. Highly recommended!

“Guest Experience”

We've had a lovely stay at Hotel Cap Negret! The staff have been welcoming, friendly and attentive throughout. A special thank you to Mery and Jack from Guest Experience for their kindness and thoughtful touches, which really made us smile. “Lovely hotel- so much to love about it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

A brilliant stay. Had room 507 which had lovely views towards Altea old town and the beach. The road noise was a little off putting but once you closed the patio door, it wasn’t an issue. Lovely comfy beds and spacious bathroom. Everything was cleaned perfectly. The outside area with pool etc was superb. Pool was cold but it was the end of October! Only complaint was the breakfasts were cold. The omelette lady made fab omelettes so had a couple of those because they were warm! Lovely to have avocado for breakfast and sit outside in the lovely late summer sun. The courtesy bus into town and the old town was brilliant- such a great thing to offer! Thank you to all the staff who are really nice. Definitely recommend this hotel.

“Really lovely hotel”

Stayed for 5 nights on a Tui package to go to a family wedding. Very happy with the whole trip. The hotel was perfect, clean and tidy in all areas. Staff were friendly and happy in their roles. Great customer service. Good breakfast with lots of choice. The sea was warmer than the pool and in my opinion nicer, but I love the sea! Make sure you take sea shoes as it's pebbles, but if you're a confident sea swimmer you'll love it. May be very busy in high season, but had the sea to myself most days mid October! Shuttle bus to Altea town is a nice perk, but it's only 15 mins walk so no bother if you don'tgetca space. Altea is simply gorgeous, but nothkng much opens till 11 or 12 so dont rush. Tram 5 mins walk away from hotel to explore Denia and other little stops. We did a day in Benidorm just to say we'd braved it. It's everything you'd imagine, but embrace it, have a laugh and a jug of Sangria and you'll be glad you had the experience! Overall Cap Negret is one of the better hotels we've stayed in recently. Don't often feel like I'd go back anywhere; theres a lot of world to see. But I would certainly stay here again if I wanted to do more of this part of Spain. Great hotel.

“Food hygiene concerns and disappointing management response”

**Food hygiene concerns and disappointing management response** During our stay at Hotel Cap Negret in October 2026, we discovered an insect on a piece of fish at the dinner buffet\. We were two couples dining together, and the incident ruined our appetite and dining experience\. We immediately informed the buffet staff, but nobody from management approached us or followed up\. The following day, one of our group developed stomach problems, forcing us to interrupt our visit to Altea\. The person spent the rest of the day in bed\. We cannot establish whether this was related to the hotel food, but naturally it added to our concerns\. We subsequently submitted a formal complaint with photographic evidence\. Hotel management acknowledged the insect incident and apologised for the lack of follow\-up, but repeatedly refused any compensation for the four dinners\. We appreciate that unexpected incidents can happen\. However, we believe the hotel could have handled this situation with greater care, understanding and professionalism\. **Our biggest disappointment was not just the incident itself, but how hotel management responded afterwards\.** Unfortunately, this experience left us with a negative impression of the hotel’s customer service\.
