“Lovely Hotel”
Spent a week here on holiday with my wife. Lovely hotel with fabulous staff. Absolutely spotless and everything was done with the finest of taste, from decor to food. A real little gem, highly recomended.

“Fantastic Hotel”
An absolutely fantastic hotel, we loved our stay here. The location is great, 5 mins walk in each direction to the old town or the beach. The hotel itself is very boutique with real attention to detail around the finishings and things like toiletries. Our room was very big with separate bath and shower as well as a very big, comfortable bed. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful and always on hand with a smile. A special shout out to Stephanie who was fantastic and made our stay so easy. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this hire again.

“Excellent Boutique Hotel”
Great stay (7 days) All staff and the owners are super friendly and helpful. Our room (junior suite) was spacious and beautiful. Excellent bed comfort, great shower, Nuxe products available. The hotel is beautifully decorated, and in the evening, the small courtyard is a lovely place to sit, unwind, and have a drink at very reasonable prices. Your day starts with an excellent breakfast, and every time, the staff ensures it is the ideal start for a relaxing or adventurous day.

“Absolutely phenomenal with incredible service!”
We had an absolutely incredible stay here! The service was absolutely top notch and on par with service we've gotten at 4 and 5 star hotels. In fact, it far surpassed the experience we had at our next hotel, a 4 star resort by the ocean (to the point that we wished we had just stayed at Hotel Abaco the entire time). Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Buganvilla room and it quickly became the favorite hotel room I've ever stayed in, which is saying a lot with how much I travel. The architecture is beautiful and unique. The view from the bathtub is perfect - with the blooming wall of begonias in the courtyard complemented by the ceiling tiles and stone wall in the room. I loved coming back after dinner and having a bath with the string lights in the courtyard giving everything a golden hue. The beds are the perfect firmness with high quality linens. The pillows were also excellent. Its rare that neither my partner or I get neck pain when sleeping in a hotel bed. Alas, no pain here! I highly recommend staying at Hotel Abaco. If we're ever back in the Altea area again we will be back and will be requesting the Buganvilla room again!

“Boutique hotel with a great team.”
We stayed 3 nights in February. The hotel is in a great location , quiet but close to everything. The staff really make the difference here , kind , helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent with a super selection which catered very well for one of us who is vegan. We would definitely stay here again.
